Piegon Pair!

I am expecting my 2nd LB. I really really wanted a girl and didnt believe im having a boy so i went for a 4 d scan just to make 100% sure
I am happy now, i cant WAIT to see my LB. How he is going to differ from his brother, how he is going to look, what personality he will have. They will differ 22 months so they are going to be close (if i knew im gonna have a boy i would have had them closer LOL)

Just last night i was thinking, how strange it would have been if there was a LG on her way, somehow it just 'fits' to see another boy in our little group

Elaine- it never stops, people keep telling me i can try for no4 for a girl and 2 & 3 haven't even been born yet LOL

Roxy- i don't think the difference in things like teething comes from the different sex, most babies have different personalities. I had a boy and trust me i knew all about him and he was a handful!

I have 2 little girls and I am very happy about it and so is DH. I think if it was 2 boys I might feel a bit different, I definitely agree there is something about wanting a girl to girly things with.

I often get told by other people though, that at least I can try for a boy for number 3!!!!

I felt so totally different during my 2nd pregnancy I was convinced it must be a boy, as it was the opposite of my first, but it was another girl. I must say that my 2 girls are so different though, can't wait to see how they interact when they are older. I also hope they will be good friends.

Hi There, just to add my 2 cents worth - i have a pigeon pair, my LB is 3 years and 8 months and my LG is 4 months old but man my LB was much easier than my LG, he teethed and i never knew about him, he slept through from a few weeks old, he was a dream, his sister on the other hand does not sleep through day or night and i have every teething mixture available but still no luck!! All this said it is a nice feeling having a pigeon pair and expierencing the different moods

Hayley- definately YIKES for 3 boys but i am starting to come round to the idea that 3 might be better than 2 because if they fight there will always be another brother to break it up or for them to run to.

I now think i have 3 boys because i can handle them! especially when C comes in holding dog poo telling me 'uh oh' and i don't freak out LOL I'm a pretty hardy person!

Besides DH says, look at it this way, we love bush holidays so now when our kids are teens we can go 4x4'ing in the bushveld and not have to worry about make up, cell phone chargers, mirrors etc LOL i must admit almost all girls go through that akward can't be seen in public even if it's only a giraffe phase LOL

Vix: I have 2 boys so I am in a similar situation to u except you are 1 up on me. Us boys mommies are definitely going to have our hands full. Yours especially.

I too would have loved a girl but more than likely if we decided to have a third which is not on the cards then chances are it will be another boy. 3 boys: YIKES.

We can't choose what we get but at the end of the day the only thing that really matters is that baby is healthy and that we do the best jobs we can as Mothers.

Honestly, having 2 or even 3 of the same has its benefits. I especially chose to have a small gap so my 2 boys would be close in age and be good friends. And I think that if they are the same sex they are even better friends.

Vix, no, thank you for the wake up call. I am so wrapped up in what I am feeling and thinking that I tend to disregard my Hubby's feelings.

Last Sunday we went to buy some toys for our LG, and I had such a ball looking at all the dolls etc. Hubby had a look too, as he don't really have any say in the matter ( ) but ended up in the "car zone". Really made me aware of how differently he must be experiencing our LG! He really does not care if it would be another LG, this I really believe, but I do think that he would also like to have one of his kind aswell.

I should most probably not make such a fuss at wanting another girl, as he might be taking it as me not wanting a boy at all.

Well, we will see what happens in a 3 weeks time
