Piegon Pair!

I've got two girls, but I've never really wished for a pigeon pair anyways. I did wish for a boy with my 1st pregnancy and the scan confirmed that it was a boy, but a girl was born. I was heartbroken! But got over it quickly and was very happy when 2nd LO was another girl. I'm now preggars again and wouldn't mind another girl, but a boy will also be fine.

Personally I really don't know what the deal is with a pigeon pair. We have a little girl and I will be thrilled if we can have another girl. I'm actually hoping for another girl (my older sister has 2 boys - oh boy, no!) but will deal with it when we get there.

Just wanted to find out how many moms here have 2 kids, that were hoping for a piegon pair but ended up having 2 girls or 2 boys.

How did you or your spouse feel? How did you deal with peoples remarks like "oh too bad....but congratulations"!

Just found out that our 2nd one is gonna be a girl
Hubby was a little sad but was glad he found out...so that he can deal with the idea of two girls.

I am happy that my little one is gonna have a sister to share stuff with...like I have....that is something special.
