mommies to be DECEMBER 2010

Good morning

i'm really having such a hard time at the moment. Seems like everything is going wrong.... and i feel guilty for not even having the time to enjoy this pregnancy more...

we haven't bought anything but i have received lots of gifts (mostly clothes) and my mom bought us nappies. From this month i will buy a nappies every month as well. We did the same with my LG and it really helps to have a bit of a "stock" built up.

We havent started shopping for baby yet. I somehow feel like we shouldnt. Something keeps putting us off buying anything. Instead we're just window shopping (well I window shop) hubby just walks past

I think we'll will seriously start shopping when we're 6months pregnant.

How is every one doing?

Shame, Tanya and Maryke, hope you both feel better soon. I have had a semi-blocked nose for my entire pregnancy, but I actually don't even notice it anymore.

Tanya, I have been 'window shopping' to see what cots, prams etc we would like to buy but haven't bought anything yet. We need to clear our one bedroom and empty its cupboards (which has just become a storage space for all these random things we end up accumulating) before we have space for baby stuff. We're in trouble if its a girl coz I can just see myself going overboard with all the cutesie baby girl clothes they have.

Well not much to report, I am battling with a stuffed nose, wake up in the morning all clogged up and full mucus, just hate it!

I felt Grey's ended on a boring note afterall the exciting/sad start to the final...Looking forward to Private Practice now, also one of my favourites...

Any of you start baby shopping yet?

mutha2b- We didnt do the tests either. I'm low risk of Downs (only 23 years old)but the gynae did thoroughly check everything. The spine etc.

Maryke- hope you get better soon. I must say I cant remember the last time I had flu. I always get warning signs but never get it.

Yes, the past two episodes of Greys have been thrilling, kinda sad the series is over for now.

Tanya, welcome back. I have the same pins and needles in sleep issue as you. Miksmummy, I've also been having more vivid dreams than usual, luckily most of them not bad dreams like you, just random stuff.

Mutha2b, we didn't do any of the tests. Our gyae asked us if we would terminate if something was wrong and we told her no. Then she said that in that case, the tests would just cause unnecesary stress, especially since we are not in a high risk group for downs or anything.

Fancyface, the good news is that due dates aren't set in stone. If its a natural birth, its unlikely to be on the exact day and if its a caesar, no doctor will want to work on christmas day if he or she has a say in it.
