Maryke and miksmummy, glad to hear your babas are doing better. Simone and champers, hope ur enjoying mummyhood.

GML, Suhaila, Barbs, seems like we're the last ones left and just need to be patient.

Suhaila, i'm also torn by the dilemma of whether or not to consider a caesar or induction. I really want a natural birth because of all the benefits to baby and for easier recovery, but to be honest I have a very low pain threshold and don't think i'll feel robbed if i don't feel all the pain of labour. Part of me is just terrified by the logistics of it all- a small built 47kg woman trying to push out a 3kg baby... Keep worrying about it not fitting. At the same time, i'm not too keen on the prospect of a caesar if not medically neccesary, though my doctor seems to be gently prodding me in that direction. Decisions decisions...

Thank you for the perspective GML, you've reminded me that what I wanted is for me and bub to experience labour, outcome aside. Praying though that I will have neither a c section ot an inducement, and get the natural labour I've been wanting.

All is well babies doing great still in nicu but hopefully by friday they will be coming home wooohooo
I must say my c-sec is alot better this time round

Suhaila- i know for sure that i want to experirnce going into labour. Whether it ends in emegency c-sec or not. Just the experience.

im not sure if bub has engaged or not. I do know that he is low...

@Google that very question is on my mind. I wanted a natural, unmedicated birth, but if bub doesn't engage/labour doesn't start, which is the best? Inducement, which is very painful, often longer labour that requires an epidural, results in an episiostomy and sometimes ends in a c section. Or avoid the trauma and just have a c section? What are the other ladies' thoughts?

@ GML and Google, if only the silence couldve meant that I was in labour:( couldn't log om via 3G and my fingers were so swollen, painful and sweaty yesterday my phone keypad wasn't doing it for me:( the 3 of us are sitting with symptoms and no labour. Have your babys engaged? My 2nd due date given is this coming friday. Looks like I joined the right thread anyway

CONGRATULATIONS to all the new mommies and WELCOME to all the gorgeous new boys!

Hope you are all settled by now and getting into the routine.

I've posted twice over the weekend, but as soon as I click "submit"my connection falters and I was just too fedup to type the whole thing over again.....

Getting excited now to see my own LO, cant wait. Really uncomfortable now, pains and aches getting me under. Feels like my hip joint rotated outwards, can't get my knees together anymore!

Seeing the gynae again on Friday, final word then on normal birth or not... I hope he says that the wait is going to be shorter - 21 Dec still sooooooooo far in the future! Tired of being uncomfortable now.

We have a wedding on Saturday - what to wear!!!??? Only 3 tops still fitting nicely, I prefer my hubby's T's now!

ML starts on Friday, cant wait. Everything ready at home, so baby can come now!
