Suhaila, any further progress? Has baby arrived yet?

Miksmummy, got a bit panicky after reading your last post and decided it was best to give my doctor a call. She suggested i come into her rooms so she can check how far along i am, only when i got there she wasn't there as she had to go into surgery so i had to wait a while. She stuck me on the monitor and there were only fairly mild contractions, but my cervix has started dilating. She said it seems to be very early labour but suggested i go home and only go to hospital when the contractions get stronger, which they still havent.

Champers, hope all is okay with the scar. Have you tried applying heat or cold compresses? Hope the latching gets easier.

Wow Congrats Suhaila! Cant wait to see your little one. Hope you aren't too uncomfortable.

And FF, how are you doing?

I am exhausted. There is a hard lump above the right side of my scar. Also, the entire scar is brick hard. I've emailed my doc to check if its ok or if I must come in sooner than my Thursday appointment.

They say that the baby must make up his birthweight after 2 weeks of being discharged from hospital. Friday I took Ty to be weighed and he is already 3.71kg so only 80g short of his birthweight.

I'm still trying to breastfeed. I am still in so much pain, when he latches on I get the shakes from the pain.

I've lost a lot of my pregnancy weight already. I am now only 4kg over what I started with prepregnancy. Hubby has bought me a treadmill so when I am ready, I can start to get fit. Looking forward to it!

How is everyone else doing?

4cm dilated. Slow progress but natural progress nonetheless:)

Moomies have had the enema, weird sensation. Started contracting naturally so need for gel or pitocin as yet. Was enjoying the contractions. Had to put in the epidural and drip, I've got until 3 to have him or its a c section. Already tired of lying flat (not helping baby at all) and starving ;(
