I packed 2pacifiers just in case

Hi ladies,
Ty has a bit of baby jaundice. Will see how he is tomorrow. He is latching on well and my milk is coming in. I gave him his pacifier because when he was put down, he'd start crying. There is no confusion with my nipple. I would strongly suggest taking one with you. 3 of the baby grows I have with me he can't even wear cos they are too small.

Thanks GML:) had just read in a few of the preggie mags and internet articles that dummies are good at promoting nose breathing but cause nipple confusion in breastfed babes. I plan to exclusively breastfeed that is when LO eventually decides to make his appearance. I'm over the waiting

Suhaila- i think pacifiers can be used to encourage sucking or/and to help babies who are continuously sucking.

I think it helps. Not sure about the nipple confusion part though.
