I'm going to get hubby to take Ty's dirty clothes home for our two to smell them. They ADORE children and babies. We've been making them sit down when around children. (Well been trying to!).

They are NOT allowed into the baby room. That is his space and they have been trained since before we even painted the room.

On 01 December we are going to my Granny's 90th Birthday party. Ty's first party!

Hey Champers - Thanks so much for the warm welcome - You guys have been great. I kinda discovered this site by mistake, just googled something arb and one of the chats came up. Found this one and decided to say hi. Was on the Pampers site, but didn't quite "fit" in there. Strange people...

Thunder Pants... Thats funny... My hubby would agree with that description. I tell you one thing... Pregnancy - IS NOT GLAM at all. The ... how should I put it.... "Side effects" are not pretty... But its all worth it in the end.

Sorry to hear you also had a D&C. I haven't gone back and read all the posts. Got to about Page 12 or so and then came on here to reply to SJJ. So will go back... If you don't mind "rehashing" what happened. Was it also a "blighted ovum".. Miscarriages seem to be happening more and more. Its very sad. I have a few ladies at work that have suffered miscarriages and a few of my friends too. I'm not sure if its just at the age we are, where people are actively trying to become parents. So obviously you hear of it more. Its incredibly sad though. I have a girl at work who has been trying for years and it just hasn't happened for her... VERY sad! We always have kiddies at work though, we have a "creche" type thing... at work, we currently have two girlies in there. One is 2, she is leaving at the end of the year to go to "big school" and the other is a teeny tiny little 3 month old girlie... Tooo precious. Can't wait to bring my boy here...

I'm due on the 25th of November... So you're only a week behind me... Are you also feeling anxious...? Is this your first baby?

@ SJJ: - Good golly, you not kidding about long posts... Nice to have something to read. You aren't alone in many of your thoughts. On the animals thing. I have one cat - a big fat black and white cat, and he is - as you say, my "first baby". I love him to bits, my very first pet.. MINE, not mom's or dad's.. But mine. And he is too avoiding Cot. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing. I also have no idea on how to prepare him. Antenatal lady told me to send hubby home with a worn piece of clothing before i take baby home, just so pets can "familiarise" themselves with the new smell.

About Labour - I'm sure thats a concern everyone has.. I sure do... I also worry about not knowing. But I'm sure you brain registers that its something you haven't felt before and kicks into gear... I would think... - Other mommies out there, how did you know you had gone into labour with your first and subsequent babies?

Hi Suhaila - glad you like long posts... I'm a "blabber" and will just go on and on and on... I also love Mikail! Think it is such a beautiful name. Its a bugger when the darn hubby doesn't like the name hey...

We've decided on Alison Emily for our girlie and Heath Andrew for our boy. Also have a few others in the mix... You know, just incase they don't look like an Alison or a Heath... Hee hee... Am with Lina on Riley as well. Thats my second option. And then like the name Bella as well. (Not after Bella Swan from the Twilight Saga... If my daughter is that whingy I'll smack her...

The backache is a killer. Have been wearing a preggy support band since about 3 months, and I think its definitely helped. Would think that it would be worse if I hadn't discovered the preggy support band. My next complaint is definitely swollen feet, my hands aren't too bad as yet. Am still able to get my wedding bands on and off, so can't be sooo bad. Feet are definitely killing me though. Get home and can barely take my shoes off (well, not that you can call wearing "slops" to a corporate environment shoes...) but anyway..... Ha ha, am getting away with it...

I'm so petrified I won't know when labour hits... It sounds so 'retarded' but I swear its my biggest fear. I lay awake at night just wondering if I'll "know" its happening. It is a very strange feeling... The waiting is a killer... My Gynae told me at my app last week that it could be any day now. Twins don't normally go to term. So the fact that I've carried this far is quite good. I've been taking it real easy though... Especially the last two months. Early in bed, and only eating the healthiest food I can get my paws on.

Another thing I'm worried about... (Sorry I'm blabbing girls...) Do any of you guys have pets...? I'm a huge animal lover. I have three dogs, a Weimeranner - He is such a doofus (but I love him to pieces) and 2 Rotties and then my baby boy - a cat - HONESTLY, bigger than you can imagine. He is a Norwegian Forest Cat, and they are incredibly lovable... Although their breed apparently aren't known to be "lap cats" - this boy really is... He is such a mommy's boy... I am so so so worried of how he is going to react to the babies My MIL keeps telling me that I'll just have to get rid of the animals if they don't take to the baba's... But I just can't even THINK of doing that... Especially my cat... He was my first baby... I'm petrified - I don't even know how to prepare him for the arrival.... He is so put off by the babies rooms. He avoids the cots like you can't believe. Barely even enters their room...

Okay, thats enough of me blabbing for one day... I'm off to my dear MIL for dinner... HELP ME... She can't cook.. AT ALL ha ha...

The past few days I have been complete THUNDER PANTS! Amazing how much gas I seem to have. Good thing hubby is away with work!

Oh and for the newbies, I also had a D&C in December last year...

I love long posts Sjj. I'm with GML, backache with one inside is a killer.

I love Mikail but hubby doesn't, that's the other problem, maybe we'll settle on 2 names have u got names Sjj.
