I know...it was just so horrible to see it happening in front of me and not being able to do anything about it. I will be a lot more cautious with him on the bed now.

I am sure that we have all falling out of beds or off chairs etc when we were small! we all seem to have survived it!

Oh shame man. Both my girls fell off the bed (think one would have learned with the 1st ne!). And Megan fell off the kitchen cupbard - twice! But she climbs up there herself - using the drawer handles - looks like a little spiderman

Please don't beat yourself up. They bounce.

Dylan's first fall resulted in bloody lip and all. Wanted to rush him to emergency but I calmed myself down and used saline to rinse and it was a little scrape.

They all fall off the bed at some stage no matter how careful we are.

Crying straight away is a good sign.

I spent the rest of the weekend playing drill sgt teaching him how to get off the bed safely.

Dont beat yourself up girl! My LG also fell off the bed when she started to roll over and sit up. And I dont even have a standard bed, got one of those old cast iron beds thats friggin high!! She cried like someone killed her for like a minut and then it was over. I felt bad all day but eventually i just accepted that shit happens and it wont be the last time she falls or gets hurt!

Thanks ladies, you have all made me feel so much better. I just wish the image of him falling would leave my memory though
