:woohoo: ok, and so i must confess, for those that have known me for ages and tose that have been to my house, my tv plays day and night, and we have pvr and its consists of, mickey mouse club house, mickey mouse club house, mickey mouse club house, barney barney barney, shrek, bee movie, enchanted, kung fu panda, madagascar and a whole lot more. my children are addicted to tv. my angelique grew up with cBeebies and she knows her squares, triangle angle as she says, circle, rectangle and all her shapes, she knows her colours, most of them, and can also draw her shapes, and that her friends in class are only staring to learn now, so i see nothing wrong with my child watching tv, as long as i know she is learning from it, she will not watch ben 10 and all that violent crap.
jolene is a hannah montanna and HSM and camp rock fan, disney channel rulz(apparently), and so then im left with having to tape greys and vampire diaries and watch it when all have gone to bed.

im struggling to make peace with barney in afrikaans, just freaks me out a bit, but yeah bardon thinks barney is the most funniest thing, personally my husband calls him a purple penis. :silly: but the kids find him funny...
your child learns to speak and everything, but just always remember the time spent infront of the tv should be the same time spent outside, equality!!!

Rebekah isnt really interested in tv. She watches Barney but only pays attention when they sing. Hubby loves the tv on when he is home.
She also loves the opening them song to 7de Laan - she gets so excited but that is because she has been hearing it since she was born

DH has already bought her lots of DVD's for kiddies - he wants her to be like him a dvd addict :)
