Oh we started 2 years ago - lol. I have a big time DIY hubby so things can get interesting here op die plaas. We are building the most eclectic "house" - wouldn't be able to think of any other word. Anyway idea is to use different themes for each cottage. The one I'm turning my focus on now has a gun metal grey slate tile floor hence the blues, greens etc.

@ Juno, luckily Hubby and I have the same taste in art so it was easy to convince him. When are you starting on your cottage?

@ 2km very nice! Those colours will also go well with yours. So did hubby have a say in the matter. Hate to say it but mine pretty didn't have much of an option. That's the major reason I'm doing our other cottage in the "winter" look - he loves his blues.

Funny how priorities change re studying. I'm sure if I was getting a qualification that would dictate whether or not I could practice in a field it wouldn't be a problem. Fact of that matter is I don't have to do it but it's now kind of become a personal challenge. My DH says I need to lose the ego...lol. He's probably right.

@ Juno, I have found a piece of art that I aboslutely love. Check out this link it is ABS012 ckotze.weebly.com/abstracts---paintings.html and it's really going to bring our room together. This artist also does the most beautiful Childrens prints for next to nothing. We will be buying some of these for our kids rooms too.

@ 2km those colours work really well together. Have a weird setup where I am but the cottage I am living in currently I refer to as the Orange House where those colours dominate - I love it - always does wonders for my mood as well. We are doing up another cottage and I am determined to try something different for once in my life! Greys, blues, blacks etc.

lol no way will I bore you with to many details around that! It is purely about making myself more marketable so decided I need to come up with a model businesses can use to improve their project management maturity. Yuk how dry does that sound!! No wonder it's taking me so long... Moving right along..

Sounds like a plan but maybe somewhere more central for a first meet? And definitely it would need to be towards the latter part of next month. Let's see what the others say. I'm easy.
