Hi Ladies. Had him at the docter last night and he got the necessary medication needed. The doctor said it is a very mild infection so far, so it should pass fast with the antibiotics. Thanks for your support.

Yes, the pain is really bad. I gave my LG pain medication for 5 days straight, every 4 -6 hours (even through the night). It really is scary how fast it can worsen and then like you have said to get better again takes a while. It also happened a few times that after the antibiotics course the infection did not clear up and came back! Not nice!

Just wanted to add that I currently have a bladder infection and because I was so busy at work, I ignored it for a week! On the 7th day, I was practically curled up on the floor in pain! It really is no joke! Mine has gone to my kidneys and after a 7 day antibiotic course, it is back!!! Obviously because I waited to long and it has already gotten so bad. Really not something to mess with.

Your lo can drink cranberry juice as a preventative measure. It's not always a 100% effective but it does help. I've been drinking it right through this pregnancy just to prevent it & so far so good. Unfortuntely, I'm getting another type of infection & it's hitting me the whole time............

Unfortunately, once the infection is there, you need antibiotics.

Yes, I agree with what momtoc says. It can cause permanent kidney damage and should never be left untreated.

pure Cranberry juice does help, but is by now way a means a form of treatment for an infection. If an infection is present it will most likely worsen very quickly and in our case ended in high fever with lots of pain. She was even hospitalised once, so, I would not recomend "wait and see" approach!

Thank you for all your advise, i will be taking him to the doctor this evening, I noted that by just giving water to cleanse him will not be curing this problem.
