Agree with the above.

Bubblebath is a big culprit especially some brands are very harsh.

I used as a bumcream or any redness when still on nappies a mixture of vaseline, zink ointment and fungicide like canalba, canesten etc. No colourants and fragrance as this irritates skin. When they get older I leave the canesten tube in the bathroom cupboard to use when necessary when a itch start.

This get beter when they learn not to wipe from the back. Also stay away from coloured and printed toilet rolls and some brands of toiletpaper is just not good.

Hi Bea,

My LG regularly struggles with redness. I agree with momtoc, I think it is still from not wiping correctly and women are just more prone to infections down there. My LG still wears a night nappy therefore I believe that is one of the contributing factors.

I give a good probiotic everyday. I use Gynaegaurd soap as recommended by the Urologist.

From time to time I use an anti fungal cream (medaspor - available without script from pharmacy). My doctor suggested that.

However a while ago it became more red and didn't get any better and the doctor prescribed an antibitioc ear drop medicine that you apply down there. It sorted it out for good! You need a script for that unfortunately.

ps: No bubble bath unfortunately...

Dit sal dan 'n aanduiding wees as daar infeksie is.

Was jy haar met sepies daaronder? Dit kan ook irritasie veroorsaak

Sterkte!

Hi everyone

My little girl is 3. What do you do when they have a bit of redness or itchiness down there? When should I be worried? Last night it was a bit red and I've put on Bepanthen and it was better this morning. What would the cause be? She has a very sensitive skin - maybe from toilet paper at different places etc?

Thanks x
