i know there was a thread on pampers about whether your baby fits into your routine or the otherway around.
Now, I guess my question ties in with that whole debate as well.
We have really struggled from when our LO was born to get her into our routine. She refused to sleep most of the times in foreign places. She really became very upset when her routine was disturbed. We tried to expose her to more change, but we always ended up to pay the price with a difficult baby.
Still now this is difficult for me, how do I arange our schedule? Everything is aranged around her daysleep, since she wouldn't sleep anywhere else. But this proves to be more diffiucult as you would imagine. It really is so stupid to tell people, "sorry, we can only join you at 1:00 at the zoo, since LO only wakes up 12:30".
What can one do? How many of you ladies wake your babies/toddlers, halfway through their sleep to make an apointment with success?
Is the alternative to skip the daysleep all together when you have to be somewhere when they normally sleep?
waking toddler while sleeping....?
