file Gonal F, Estrofem and IUI

Thanks everybody! I am now on CD1 so will go and see doc on 26 Feb to measure the eggie ect!

I hoped that Gonal F might help a bit, did my last IUI with only clomid and trigger shot!
Son born 2007 (natural BFP)
TTC since 2008, Loads of clomid rounds
BFP 2009, MC 5 weeks. Went to FS 2009 Diagnosed with Hostile cervic mucus, PCOS, Insulin
IUI 1: BFN one egg(No meds only HCG trigger, Staminagro and Glocohase.)
IUI2: BFP one egg (Gonal F and trigger, Staminagro and Glocohase.
) MC 6weeks (low progesterone)
IUI3: BFN one egg (Gonal F and trigger, Viagra, estrofem, progesterone injections, pills and cream Staminagro and Glocohase.)
IUI4: BFP 8 egg (Gonal F,intralepen 2 rounds, Staminagro and Glocohase.

Hi Ika

We did our first IUI last month but it was a BFN.

I was on fertomid, gonal-f injections, (I only had 1 mature egg and 1 small eggie which was to small to ovulate) ovidrel triggershot and utrogestan.

Hey Ika

Well last month I did a round of Fertomed, Gonal F and then the trigger shot (the natural bding). Well it didnt work. Was so dissapointed last week.
But as normal i had to phone my FS on the 1st day of my period, and to my surprise he is prepping me for IUI next week. I was so shocked because I thought he would let me do 3 cycles with just the injections and natural bding. But he is really good and he doesnt wanna waste our time.
So I started clomid yesterday. Did my 1st Gonal F shot tonight(2 amps). Do another 2 on Wednesday and then on Friday. Saturday i do a blood test. Then if all looks well on Monday we do the IUI.

So like you I would also like to know a bit more from someone who has been through it?

TTC for just over 2 years 2009-2011 Male & Female Infertility
PCOS and IR diagnosed in 2010 put on glucophage
No BFP after 6 months
2010- one MC (nature took it's course) :( One more angel in heaven :)
First FS appointment Jan 2011, PCOS confirmed to be extremely severe. No ovulation and hormones completely imbalanced.
Jan 2011-first medicated cycle with normal intercourse = BFN

hey Ika,

i used gonal for my previous IUI's (did 3, all of them negative) we are doing this again (the last time before IVF) and doc has now put me on Menopur.

Emsmom: That is a IVF, a IUI they insert it into the utures via your va jay jay. Don't worry I also had to read up on those.
