Expanding the Fertility Threads???

Monica there certainly is a huge difference between an early mc and a stilborn birth. I know there is a mc thread, but not a stilborn thread as far as I know.

I think that the concern is not to worry ladies who are ttc about mc and the likes so the question is should it be part of the fertility section? I am not saying it shouldn't, but would like to hear other opinions.

Maybe we should have a whole section just for mc and stilborn births as I personally don't think they should be in the pregnancy section either.

TTC should be about having fun making your baby.

I think there should be 2 different categories - Miscarriages and Still born babies.
I know it is all the same emotions and things - I had both. MC at 8 weeks first pregnancy and Still born at 32 weeks 2nd pregnancy.
I think it definately 2 seperate subjects completely. Having a sac removed or having to deliver the baby!
Just a thought.
If i had known more about MC's the first time round, it would have helped me. Then the 2nd time round you just worry about the MC and you think you are 'safe" after the 12 week mark....... that you don't even think anything else of it.......until one day.
If there was a stillborn category people become more aware of how careful they really need to be.

Julz I like this suggestion. For example I'm about to TTC but I don't (or not yet at least) have any problems I am aware of. I suppose the problem with this is if one of us does start having problems then what...

Anyway personally I would enjoy meeting others who are about to start TTC'ing.

Nayeela, thats a brilliant idea.. Like me, i lost a baby at 20 weeks and 4 days pregnant and i would love to chat and have the support from other mommies who have suffered a loss of a child...
