Hi Ladies,

Flowergirl, fingers crossed for you!

AFM: I finally went to get my bloods done yesterday, results will be advised by Monday. As AF is still a no show DH and I decided to do a blood test to see if I'm pregnant and it was negative. Must admit, we walked out of the hospital disappointed. Glad to know though so will take it from there.

I'm going to "take a break" for a while. It's a tad stressful and stress leads to eating for me and I can't do this to my body. I will be checking in on this chat and I thank you ladies for the support and wish you all the best. I will be focusing more on losing weight and getting my body into shape.

Hey ladies

Haven't been on here for ages. Hope you are all well!

Just finished my degree so I have more time to be online now :)

Update: Going on for my 6th cycle using 100mg Clomid. Haven't had spikes in temperature. Did 1 month on day 17 but not sure if that was because I took it later than I normally wake up.

Question: What is the next step when Clomid doesn't work?

#1 - TTC 14 months
DH varicocele, me Fertomid, cancelled AI, fell pregnant naturally
First baby born 9th June 2010 via emergency c-section

#2 - TTC 17 months, used fertomid but stopped and then fell pregnant naturally

Preschool Teacher
Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Tx Carmen. So you using an OPK this month?

I was wondering what had happened to you GW..glad to see that the vitex seems to be working so well!

Hi FG glad to hear that you are feeling better. Sometimes there is nothing like a good, long cry..My SIL has also just announced she is pregnant so I can relate..

Ah well looks like I’m out of the running for this month – and not for want of trying. I have not had any of my usual PMS symptons leading up to AF (headaches, very painful boobs, spotting from CD19ish). Had a suspiciously achy lower absoman this morning and yes AF is definitely on her way. Spot on for my usual 24 day cycle. I’m still not convinced on the whole clomid route so have decided to stick it out one more month BUT this time using an OPK as going it blind is not working for me. I like knowing..

Have a great weekend..

Hi Flowergirl!

You have been in my thoughts after your ectopic. It really took me a while to recover emotionally, I remember not feeling myself for quite a while. Cry as much as you need - I find it helps a lot! I totally hear you about the work stress. It really doesn't help with the whole TTC journey.

Yip, I hear you - my LG has an imaginary brother and sister that we have to save a space for at the dinner table. So yes...

Hope everyone has a great weekend! xx

Hey ladies

Things have been hectic at work for me as well. So, Im really greatful for the quiet day today. Will be leaving now at 13:30 - YAY mE!!

I will test on CD 28 - 11 September. Not holding out much hope though. No idea whether I ovulated or not or when I should have - done zero charting.

My SIL (DH's sister) has also just announced that she is pregnant. Totally unplanned as she is getting married in November!! I found out last Friday and have been having a terrible time at work as well, so I just cried BIIIIIIIG crocodile tears!! I think it was what I needed though - cried because of the pregnancy that I lost, cried because we've been struggling so long to conceive baby number 2 and because of all the stress at work. So, I am in a better space this week - think I just needed a "release" and that pregnancy news was definitely the trigger!

GW - THe only thing Emily speaks of is "her baby brother"!!

Hi everyone!

I am so sorry for being so quiet. I have been totally swamped with work the past 2 months. Hopefully things will chill out soon.

I am so surprised to see that so many of us are still here and not pregnant yet. I am so happy for Jay after they TTC for over 2 years! That just made me realise again that the name of this game is patience. Not something I have in large doses. I try to think that most of us here will be pregnant over a long enough time line. We just need to persevere!

My LG is also driving me crazy with requests for a sibling, praying regularly for a sibling! So, I hear you ladies who are in a similiar boat.

About the vitex (chaste berry tree)....I have been taking it about 3 months now?
The most significant benefit has been the total disappearance of painful swolen breasts the week before AF. I have really struggled with this and caused quite a lot of discomfort, therefore I am relieved to be rid of it! My PMS mood outbreaks have improved by at least 50% - my husband confirmed this too! :) This last month I had a drastic reduction in headaches in my first week of cycle (which is usually a nightmare for me).

We will have to see what if it improves my chance of falling pregnant as this miracle herbal supplement is boasted as.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone and hoping for a BFP on this thread soon!!! xxx
