Morgan55, I have had the same feelings a thousand times over! Teens get pregnant from one thoughless night behind the school pavillion, yet we spend hundreds and thousands of rands trying to get there and nothing happens! I completely understand your frustration.

It's awesome news about your DH sperm. Male factor is the worse thing ever (trust me, we have male factor and nothing can fix that), so if you don't have male factor issues that's 3/4 of the battle won! Don't stress about the gynie visit. It's standard - just to make sure nothing is wrong. And even if there were something wrong, with female factor most things are easy to fix! Just don't give up!

Honestly, I don't know where to start with how I feel right about now.

DH's sperm count test results came back today. There's nothing wrong with him. Thank God for that. I'm pleased as punch.

Now I have to go to the gynaecologist. Earliest appointment I can get is 7 October. That's :headbang: fantastic.

The receptionist from our doctor's office calls me and tells me, 'You have to go to the gynaecologist. Your appointment's the 7th of October, you have to take R500 cash, your ID, husband's ID, medical aid card.'
So I ask, 'But my husband's test results?'
'Ja, he's fine. Nothing wrong with him that's why you have to go to the gynaecologist.'

Just like that my world spins off balance and I find myself all teary in my office. It's my fault we can't have kids at the moment. There's something wrong with me.

I consider myself a good person. A moral person. I haven't killed or maimed anyone or intentionally done anyone any harm. I don't drink myself into a coma or whore around. I don't even smoke. So why is it so :swear: difficult to have kids?! I feel like I'm being punished.

Just this week a friend of mine let me know that 3 kiddies aged 2, 3 and 4 have been taken away from their 21 year old parents. Those kids have NOTHING but the flimsy clothing on their backs.

It's so :swear: unfair. We'd be able to take care of our kids. They might not have everything that they want, but they'd have everything that they need.
These people breed like bunnies and they can't look after them.

:swear: :swear: :headbang: :headbang:   :headbang: :headbang: :swear: :swear:
