I think it's to make sure that you did ovulate. That's the only thing I can think of.
My gynae said she wants me to come in before day CD5 (couldn't make it, had other appointments I tried wriggling out of but couldn't) and then again on CD14 (today, but again, I can't get there) to measure how big the egg is.
I'm surprised you weren't told to come in and measure the egg.
Your gynae must be confident that the egg is going to be beautiful and that you'll ovulate exactly as you should.

wanted to update you and ask a question.

So Sunday was my last day for the Provera and today AF showed up which is officially CD1. I called my gynae like he asked me too on CD1 and he will tell me what to do. I have to go get blood drawn on CD21 to check my progesterone levels. Any idea what this is about?

WHat will it indicate?

my insulin and thyroid was fine. thats what the Dr said... So im taking my provera.. lets see what comes of all of this...

Both of us went to gynae on same day and basically got told to do the same things!!

I also never thought that I'd be going on fertility drugs (well, maybe, it depends).

Hope we both get wonderful news and 2015 babies!

So just an update, i went to my gynae today... still hadnt seen AF yet and its CD38. So the scan of the uterus was normal... I have blood tests tomorrow for insulin levels and then will start another course pf provera. Once AF shows after that i have to go for another blood test to check prgesterone levels and then will start a mild fertility drug to get ovulation going... **sigh**

i actually dont know how to feel right now... i never imagined myself on fertility drugs!

im actually speechless right now ...
anybody know much about mild fertility drugs?

Just want to say I'm sorry for all you've been through but I agree with Nunukie, you are still young and anything is possible!
Keep positive and it will happen (I know that sounds so cliché but I believe it)

Thanks for the advice and wise words of wisdom.. After your 7 years of TTC i will take it.. The up's and down's of being a woman is sooo frustrating at times.. like it feels like it will never end... I conceived the first time around after getting off the pill in 3 months and we were not even trying.. it was such a shock cos whilst i knew the possibilty of falling pregnant was there, it was just step 1 and i expected like at least 8 months to go by before we tackle the situation... Anyway all in God's Plan.. We sometimes expect things to go as WE plan forgetting there is a bigger picture and a master plan...
