question-circle First Fertomid Cycle, New Here

11 years 11 months ago #253527 by Morgan55
Thanks Twinkle!

Excellent advice. It's like I told DH last night, my cycles are always 26 days long which means that ov is on CD12, not 14. Ah well, we'll see what's for what when the time comes. Like I posted yesterday, making sure that there are gallant soldiers waiting for the queen to arrive whether it's day 12 / 13 / 14 or whatever.

Drank my last fertomid last night TCS!! Feeling good and hoping for the best. Trying to keep calm and just relax is really hard but we have to do it!
I fully believe that this is our month, TCS.

Thanks Twinkle... You are def right, stress and anxiety is the worst. that is the reason i do not naturally get AF. after the 2nd MC (conceived naturally) he said the stress is causing the anovulation.

now my biggest issue is that i cant count 14 days from prev cycle to work ovulation because for the last 3 cycles i was on provera... each after about 40-50 days ... each time i thought AF would come but she didnt.

so now im on 100mg ferto. today will be the 3rd day. i am trying to keep calm and chill out but it is extremely hard...

lets just hope this works...

Just a piece of advise from my side... when you are on Fertomid or any other meds let your Gynie / FS monitor the cycle EACH AND EVERYONE are different remember that some people cycles are 28 days, 30, 32 or 34 .... you calculate your ovulation 14 days BACK from your last day of the cycle... Get your gynie to do a folic scan on a certain day or maybe blood test to confirm that you are ov on a certain day that is the only way to confirm ovulation ... by blood or then a very good indication a scan....

In my case the first month i used 50mg of Fertomid did not ov on that at all... next cycle was 100mg and i ovulated on day 19 / 20 .... after 8 month of fertomid i never got pregnant .... did not used any meds for 9 months and got a natural BFP ... STRESS is NO GOOD - RELAX!!!!

Thanks Cynthia.

We're trying to do everything as natural as possible so if we can skip the trigger shot it would be awesome but if she feels that the trigger shot is needed then so be it.
Doesn't matter how we get that little bundle just as long as we get it!
hahaha.

It's awesome being able to talk to you guys. So many people don't understand or don't know what to say or simply just don't care.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

A trigger shot is when you're given an injection to make you ovulate when the eggs are of the proper size etc.
