First Fertomid Cycle, New Here

my AF is also always 2 days long. That shouldnt affect your ovulation at all because your ovulation should be 5 - 7 days after discontinuing Clomid/Fertomid. My FS advised me to start BD from day 4 after discontinuation through to day 13.

Thanks so much!!! I asked because last month when I had gynae appointment, I was there on day 14 (11/11/2014) and there was no egg but I got AF on 25/11/2014 which means that I do ovulate, thank God!

I was put on 50mg to start with and then 'We'll see if it works.' I'm hoping it does. I'm glad I started taking the fertomid at night because my friend said that she took it during the day and it made her 'aggro'.

OH and my gynae told me to take the fertomid at night...

whats the highest dose of fertomid you can take?

WRT your question, from all the reading i have done, ovulation does not necessarily happen half way through.. you could have a 28 day cycle but ovulate on CD 17 as an eg.
What i used to do is, google ovulation calendar and put in the date AF started and it will throw out dates that you are most likely to ovulate from and i consider that whole week as my fertile period which i can ovulate.. i usually add a day before and a day after... so i never know when i ovulate but i do know the week it happens..
Its worked for my second pregnancy which was a MC but knowing that fertile period worked...

i also do not trust ovulation kits... ive read too many stories where it was incorrect.

Wow! Here I thought it was just our crappy town and surrounding crappy towns that didn't have clomid. Just goes to show you.

Yes, started clomid / fertomid without inducing AF. Was told that that is good because it means that I ovulate every month but that it probably means that the eggs aren't big enough which is why no conception.

Don't worry about the TMI. We're all grown-ups here, most of us with the same problems so.... No biggie for me.

I was told CD1 is the first day of full blown AF, not just spotting. That's what I was told by my gynae so, hope that's right.

I have a question too. My AF is ALWAYS 2 days long. Come hell or high water, it's 2 days and my cycle is usually 26 / 27 days. Won't this mean that I ovulate on CD 12 / 13 and not CD14?

In durban Clomid has been out of stock for over a year.... and its a battle to find Fertomid as well...

Did you start the clomid without inducing an AF?

i am expecting AF anytime now.. fourth day after provera..

tell me, is CD1 considered on day of brown Spotting or full blow AF?
Sorry for the TMI.. im currently spotting brown with tinges of red blood but not sure if this is CD1 ...

Was a hectic weekend for me with no signal, this morning (after having to reboot phone) I got a bunch of emails, most of them from Moomie. Am really stoked for you and hubby and your awesome news.

Gynae prescribed 50mg clomid for me on Friday which I couldn't find ANYWHERE! 'Sorry, we're out of stock but we'll have again on Monday or Tuesday next week.' This, of course, helps nothing if you have to start on Sunday.

So, I called her and asked if fertomid would also work as I can't find clomid. She said 100% so, started them last night.

It doesn't make a difference when you drink them, right? Just as long as you drink them every day at the same time, right?

Am quietly anxious, excited, nervous, apprehensive, little bit scared and I don't know what other emotions are all bubbling inside of me at the moment. I want this SO bad and I know that I don't have to explain that longing to any of you gorgeous ladies.

So... that's my news sommer as well.
