@P4M1 - Aaaah they are so cute! I agree with Morgan, people who poison should have the same done to them. They dont realize how much the little guys suffer. Breaks my heart man!

@Morgan - you should see this tortoise, he is about the size of a brick and when I sit outside he walks up to me and climbs over my legs. His name is Dextor! Haha! My one chihuahua protects him with her life hey, none of our other dogs can come close to him or she attacks. Really funny! LMOA!! Would have loved to see you visitors faces, must have been priceless!

Yeah, our house is called 'The Circus' because - seriously.

We had a tame pig called Miss Piggy that also grew up in the house. Then, when she got pregnant, she brought her babies home too.... at a stage they were 7 that came and went as they pleased. NEVER messed in the house or anything. We had visitors one day and were sitting in the lounge room busy talking etc when we heard 'oink oink' and hubby and I looked at each other. We've forgotten to close the back door and lo and behold, here come Miss Piggy and her 6 babies in a row to the lounge room.

Our visitors just sat there dumbstruck. that's when we realised that we had to find a home for her babies and Miss Piggy was banned from the house.

@ Babydreaming - a tortoise!! Never had one of them before! I heard they make excellent pets!

@ P4M1 - they are gorgeous!! People who poison animals should have the same done to them. It is the most HORRIFYING thing to witness.

Your house sounds like mine, lol We have 4 cats, 1 dog, 1 cockatiel, a wild peacock and many other wild life (we live on a smallholding)
I also have 2 stray cats that I feed at work
I used to have 3 but someone poisoned my baby Nov 2013 (her name was baba)
I found her when she was maybe 3 weeks old, gave her a little bottle and from that day she was my baby

She really was like a baby, she came and fetched me each morning at the gate at work, then she had breakfast and sat or layed on my lap the whole day while I was working. I am very lucky to have pets at work

Hehe sounds like our house, 6 dogs and 1 tortoise. We found the tortoise about 2 weeks after we moved into our house, he just came out of nowhere. He is just too cute and now very much part of the family. Hubby says we have a petting zoo.

Oh yes. Fur babies get under your skin and crawl into your hearts so deeply.

Sorry about losing your fur baby, Babydreaming. She was such a cutie!!! It hurts so much when they pass on. That is such an awesome way of remembering and honouring the fur babies. Must look into that....

Hubby and I found a little black cat in October 2013 just roaming around near hubby's work. Took him to work with me for the day (I'm VERY lucky that my bosses are very understanding) then on the way home we took him to the vet for his shots and a check up and everything. He was around 5 weeks old, the friendliest little thing and we loved him so very much.

He was with us for four months before he got sick and just wouldn't get better. We had him at the vet time a again, he had to sleep over from Sunday and then on Tuesday I got the horrible news that he had feline AIDS and there was NOTHING that they could do for him.

It broke my heart (and still breaks my heart, sitting here crying as I type this) when the vet said that he'll have to be put down. Eddie was our baby for those months and I believe that he had such a wonderful life with us because he was just beautiful.

Then, in November last year, we found a week old kitten abandoned by his mommy. We adopted him and had to feed him with a bottle etc. Finnick is now 4 months old and oh my word, he rules the roost. Even though he's the youngest of 8 cats and 9 dogs

I just love them so much. Hubby said that we have to stop otherwise there won't be room for a 2 legged baby!

OK, ladies. I think it's safe to say that we all need a BFP and soon too. Like Fairychild said, we just need one to start a wave of BFPs!!!!
