Trying for a 2016 baby

Hi there ladies!

I'm an old Moomie member, haven't been on here for about 4 years. We struggled for 2 years to conceive, did the whole fertility treatmemt etc, didn't work, we were on a break from it all when bam we got pregnant with my son! He will now be 4 in July

We decided it's time for nr 2, got pregnant out of the blue in January this year. At our 8 week scan in March, tragedy struck and we had no heartbeat. Had a d&c on 10 March. We gave it a break for 1 cycle and we're now actively trying again. Apart from my hormones still being a bit out of whack, I had a very strange cycle this month. I normally ovulate between Cd16 to Cd19. I tested on Cd16 with Clearblue digital and got a smiley face. We bd'd for quite a few nights up to about cd21. Tested again to be sure, negative OPK on cd21. Cd22 bang - got ovulation pains (which I get every month and I thought something was weird because I didn't have any symptoms when I had my lh surge on cd16). Cd23 - full blown ov pains with lots of eggwhite cm. Cd24 - pains gone and mucus also less. Now I'm currently on Cd29 and really believe we're out again for this cycle due to it being so weird!!

Has this happened to anyone before? Where you get lh surge positive opk but only ovulate 7 days later?

Both hubby and I are 35 years old and with these hormones being out of whack my skin looks like a teenager's!! If a mc is not nad enough you have to deal with everything that comes after...

So I started spotting this afternoon. AF is on her way.

This is the longest cycle ive ever had. We willbr doing another round of fertomid this month and then we'll take a break.

This is really becoming to much.

Liza so sorry for another bfn. Could this be due to the increased dosage of fertomid? Maybe you just have a shy bfp. I think wait a few more days and then test again and then seek advice from doctor. Good luck. I know how frustrating this must be.

Oh no Liza, that's annoying and confusing!

I have heard of some people only getting a bit when they were 10 days late, but it's not the norm. I think all you can do really is wait. If still no af and still a bfn next week then contact your dr for advice. Until then just keep waiting and test again Sunday maybe. I hate when our bodies confuse us like this.

@Liza, sorry about that BFN , perhaps hold off a few more days. Its possibly that implantation happened late.

Im CD32 today and no signs of AF. Did I maybe test to early??
