OMG!!!

So i caved and held pee for 6 hours and took a hpt and got a BFP! I did it because of the pink cm yesterday... Line is slightly lighter than the control but obvious. I'm shaking and my heart is beating out of my chest! Still can't believe it! AF was due tomorrow. Will use the clear blue digital tomorrow to see what it says.

@ ninies you are so correct!!! I am CD 20 today damn dont know what happened with my planning this month.

So my progesterone test will be done on Saturday.

TheMrs - I read something interesting the other day about CM. Apparently our bodies make fertile cm around ov time, but then a few days after ov we again get what appears to be fertile cm and that is caused by a second burst of oestrogen. I can't remember why our bodies do that second burst of oestrogen, but I do remember being interested by that.

Just googled and found it:
"EWCM occurs as a response to increases in estrogen levels. About a week after you ovulate you may have another increase in estrogen, but this increase is not quite as high as what occurs during ovulation. Estrogen and progesterone levels increase to help thicken the lining of your uterus in preparation for implantation. When this happens you might notice a second patch of ewcm. This is not necessarily typical but it is also not unusual."

@ninies – Im also in Pretoria and its freeeezing! Glad your temp is still up, that’s great! I think mine is too, but I’ve missed a day here and there.

@Mrs Smith – I fully expect a BFP from you this month. No excuses. I am also getting pimples, which I never get. One on my neck and my one on my temple/hairline. Grrrr.

AFM – We didn’t bd the other night or last night. Dh isn’t feeling too good, flu has got him unfortunately. But I am on CD20 and if something miraculously happens in terms of a BFP this side, I’ll be very surprised. I have had very creamy cm today.. but honestly, I give up trying to interpret my cm. I felt nauseas last night, but its WAY too early to be anything to do with ttc I recon.
