@P4M1, Jay-Bee and Lillyr - How are you girls doing?

@Chanti - I think its better to BD every second day as to every day, if your hubby doesnt have any sperm deficiencies then it shouldn't be a problem. For me quality is better than quantity. About the OPK's, I prefer to take a sample of urine appose to POAS directly, then I just set my timer of the amount of time that is required. But its all up to you hun, remember to do an OPK at the same time everyday okay. GL!

Well CD29 for me, no nothing hey. Just patiently waiting.

Wow wee!!! It's freezing in JHB... Ive tried to wrap up warm and no such luck, I stay cold!!!


How you all doing? Im in allot of pain this morning, almost feels as though my insides wanna fall out I suppose it was bound to happen after a 50 day cycle.. Shame, hubby seemed to be alittle down last night and I reassured him he shouldn't get down as we have only been trying for 2 months... But he wants this badly...

So I started my Femolene this morning as I counted this day as CD1, so lets see how the Femolene treats me this month, quite excited actually

I hope i use the OPK's correctly and find my positive. Is it better to BD every second day as opposed to everyday??

It will be so hard not to symptom spot with the Fertomid symptoms and get hopeful.

I am so so excited! Having a whirlwind of emotions... Are we ready?? Should we wait until we are older?? Do we have enough money?? All of these questions flood your mind but soon get washed away at the sight of a precious little baby (I must seem like a weirdo to strange moms as i sit there staring at their babies!) hahahaha

FX for this cycle! If i manage to get a BFP then it will tie up perfectly with the Christmas holidays instead of early maternity leave.

@ MtC, I hope the days fly for you and its Wednesday already. It will be such a relief to get answers!

In the time leading up to the appointment why don't you get a list together of all the questions you would like to ask him. Not only about your long cycle but what he suggests for the way forward etc.

When I had my ultrasound last week I asked so many questions that he must have though I was mad but hey, one pays so much for a consultation we better get our monies worth

Ps, thanks I have made an appointment with the Gyne for a ultrasound for my next cycle, will be a good idea to know what the Fertomid is doing to my eggies.

I am on CD9 and also getting ready for bd'ing
I am on my first round of Fertomid and they say that it can give false OPK positives so I don't want to use them for this cycle. Yikes but it is so difficult as all I want to do is go out and buy them

I have also decided that instead of bd'ing everyday of our fertile window, we are going to bd every second day instead...

You must be so excited to start the OPK and the ttc journey We will be in our ttw together

@lilyr - Im so sorry to hear that hun. Please get a second opinion and don't terminate if there is nothing even wrong yet??? Have you been affected at all this pregnancy or are they basing it simply on your previous experience?

@MTC - I am so glad you have finally gotten an appointment to see the gynae and either get a BFP or the start of a new cycle!
