Trying for a 2016 baby

@Anzel - Fx for you! Im not tempted to test early yet this cycle... Cant face the disappointment. I have graduation next Friday and AF is due the same weekend so could be very bitter sweet weekend for me

I honestly don't know. Normally I would, but I have this feeling that I'm out. So I'll wait till Monday, which will be CD 31, then I'll test if AF has not arrived yet. I have one HPT left. If it's a positive, I'll go and buy a Clearblue test.

@Anzel - Are you going to test again before CD30? FX

Hi @Chanti - No sign of AF yet. I'm on CD 27 today - My cycle is normally 27 days long. Last month it was 30 days long due to Inofolic that I used. This month I was on Fertomid and Inofolic. So still waiting for AF to arrive... Will keep you posted. I constantly have this "wet" feeling down there. Have to run to the loo the whole time to check whether AF has arrived, and then nothing. I do have some light cramping and lower back pain though.

@TanyaS - Oh no im so sorry you feel differently on that. I would like two kids and hubby would like three so we are different there but atleast both want more than one. I feel a child needs a sibling as it could be quite boring growing up and it teaches them life skills on how to share/consider others. Thats just my personal opinion though! Im the youngest of three and feel that the whole middle child syndrome thing is very real and I dont want that for my kids so that's how I settle on two.

@Lush - What happens now? Do they keep your eggs for you until next cycle?

@Tanya1 - Congrats! When is ur next scan to hear the heartbeat?

AFM, CD19, 5DPO, had a temp dip this morning and slight cramping... Think it could be too early for implantation though?

@Liza - FX that AF stays away for you. That would be awesome...

@TanyaS - My personal opinion is same as Liza's. We were 3 kids and later my mom and dad had a laatlammetjie and we were 4. All 4 are grown now and it is fantastic when we have family get togethers etc. Also, if anything happens with my mom /dad and help is needed, everything does not just come down on one child - all 4 of us gets involved and helps out where we can. My best friend is an only child and she has to deal with all of her mom and dad's issues (financial, emotional, health etc). She even said she wished her mom and dad had atleast one more child as she feels in her personal life, she struggles with certain things. For instance, interacting and facing conflict with people in the work place, sharing etc because she never learned these "soft" skills in life.

If I could I would have 3 kids. I know we cant afford it, but it would be awesome. Hubby and I also said that by the time I turn 35 and we are not yet pregnant we would leave it and be happy with one. I turned 35 last year december and both hubby and I could not accept that we would only have one child so we carried on. I will be 36 in a few months.
I hope you manage to convince your hubby, and that you get your BFP before the end of the year.

@TanyaS - Good to hear from you again! Oh, how I know that feeling. My hubby doesn't really care for children. He says that he would allow me one child and that's it. Unless we get pregnant with twins, which is a good possibility. It hurts when he says that. It's part of who we are as women to want to have children, to care for them and the see them grow. I also personally believe a child should have a sibling - It will teach them to share and get along with others. However, I know of many families how only have one child and the child turned out to be ok. So it is up to personal preference, I guess?!? Good luck with this. I know it is taxing and very hard on you, especially because you really want another little one.

@Liza - Did you succumb to POAS yet?? Those symptoms sound so promising! FXed!

AFM, I'm on CD 27 today, the day AF normally arrives. I had to get up 5 times during the night to go to the loo! So frustrating! Just went I'm sleeping well, my bladder wakes me up! lol! This morning, my boobs are extremely heavy and uncomfortably sore. Even as I'm sitting and wearing a sturdy bra, they hurt. They don't feel like mine at all!! Apart from that I continually have this wet feeling that makes me run to the loo to check if AF has arrived - NOTHING! I decided to use a pantyliner for the day, just to calm myself down. It's freaking me out, this whole TTC journey! I also have the stuffy, runny, congested nose. More of a cold, I guess. And then I'm constantly hot... Oh, and I'm still very very thirsty. Weird symptoms this month!

I'm going for cut and colour my hair at the salon this afternoon. So looking forward to the pampering!
