@Liza - My hubby is not so keen on treatments, like IVF or IUI. In his opinion, the cost doesn't warrant the risk. We got a quotation for almost R60k for one cycle of IVF, and off course there is no guarantees that it will work. If if doesn't work for us, then we lose that money. And with a bond, we can't afford to lose as much. And to make matters worse, where we stay, we don't have a fertility clinic, so I'll have to travel to a city, which will incur additional costs of transport, accommodation, meals etc. So it is hard - I know that IVF is our best option - Hubby has a count and morphology problem, and although he has been on treatment for over a year, I don't know if it has made any difference. He wanted to go for a sperm analysis a few weeks back, and I stopped him. I know he hates it and he doesn't want to do it, and that he only suggested that because he wants to help me, but I can't do that to him a third time. I know I ovulated on my own last month, so now I just hope that everything is fine with hubby and that it's just a matter of time.
I just called my gynae for a new prescription for clomid - I have the suspicion that he'll want to do a scan again, before we go ahead with treatment, which I'm not looking forward to, as I'm on my period! But hey, if it has to happen, it has to happen.
