hi ladies

So I just came from the doctors office. She is very happy. I have 3 eggies, 2 of 14mm and 1 13mm. She said I am most likely to ovulate on Sunday CD16. She gave me the trigger shot to inject Sunday morning. I have a fear of poking needles into people/myself haha but my BIL said he can do it for me. She said to BD on Saturday evening, Sunday morning and evening and Monday morning.

I still don't feel it even though she gave good news. I think I am at a point where I am just to afraid of disappointment.

so @nicola i will give the wine a skip for this weekend ;)

Hi ladies

@Salemein I hope you get some clarification today and i'm sorry you have to go through this after what you have been through. Fingers crossed thinking of you xxx PS-drink the wine!!!!!
@Megs you have every right to be hard on yourself. You have been through a traumatic time and its only natural to feel the way you do. I can't even imagine what you and @salemein must be feeling. FX for you xxx
@TippeeTwo Welcome!!! You will have some amazing support here! sorry to hear you've had a rough time but fingers crossed for your IVF and we hear from you soon with a BFP!!!!

I am very naive about how IVF works and IUI etc, all these abbreviations and medications its all very confusing! But it is something we have to start thinking about I guess - 18 months TTC and both seemingly healthy and all fertility tests good. Makes me sad that its so hard. Anyway no symptoms here i'm on CD13 cm has gone and so now we wait!!

Praying for a BFP here soon! have a great day ladies

@Salemein: I have also only ever got the feint line. I might give the clear blue a try next week or just follow my instincts. We didn't BD last month on day of ovulation I think - because hubby was not well. This month AF has been so out of sorts. Lasted 2 days then stopped then returned but just brown and sporadic for the preceding two days (sorry tmi). I hope all goes well with your appointment today - don't give up hope just yet! Maybe we are just getting ourselves too worked up and the stress is working toward us. Not that there is some magic cure for our mental state and phobia. Trying to process not having that baby in our arms and trying to produce another one at the same time is not by any means an easy task. Hang in there... thinking of you xxx

@Megs, have now done OPK's for the last 4 days, I follow the instructions to a T on CD11 i got a very very very light line and then yesterday CD12 nothing again. I have zero CM and cervix is still hard and feels somewhat tilted upwards. I have a follow up today and if its bad news I just going to leave this. I can not keep getting this disappointment. I should be a mother of a 8month old, I shouldn't even be trying to get pregnant for the next two years. It hurts so badly.

I'm glad you are seeing someone, it really is traumatic to lose a baby, its really more than just a baby one loses. It sometimes feels like God is punishing me, I know he is not but it feels like it, especially this week. I really do pray that you get a rainbow. I can just imagine how it helps with the healing

@Nicola, I will drink a whole bottle for you like I'm feeling right now :)

@: Salemein: it's the OPK's lol, I am sure they are working against me too. Although hopefully you will get a stronger line today? Tomorrow? CD10 could have been a bit early. I went to the Psychologist on Tuesday and just was an absolutely wreck in her office - kept telling her I feel like our last pregnancy was our last chance and now I am over analyzing everything again. Not sure why I am being so hard on myself.

@NicolaF: the wine is waaaaaay too hard to stay away from in winter! I am limiting myself to weekends. Crossing fingers that all goes well with the bd'ing this week.

@TipeeTwo: Welcome :woohoo: although I am a stranger to IVF, I would say in terms of losing your mind - you are safe here haha. Very familiar with that. Sending lost of baby dust your way xxx

Hi ladies, am new to this forum. Have been googling for the past few days trying to find an RSA forum. Thank you, Google!

I'm on day 8 past 5ET and I'm slowly losing my mind, oh this is my first IVF cycle. This 2WW is challenging.

We have been ttc'ng for the past 18 months, got 2 BFP which sadly ended in MC's just after 12 weeks. DH and I are very healthy and all our tests came back normal. So we were referred to FS who advised us to consider the IVF route with genetic testing especially because both our embies from the previous MC's were not tested. So to cut a long story short, we started our IVF journey in May with 21 eggs, ended up with 14, decided to test 4 and 1 came back "normal" and had FET last Thursday. So currently waiting for Tuesday to know if this was successful.

Reading all your stories and seeing the immense support of this group made me want to join immediately. This is just what I needed

Love T

Hi ladies

Happy Hump day! how are you all doing?

I'm on CD12. Got a very positive OPK yesterday the test line was much darker than the control line so looks like i'm right on the dot like last month to ovulate today. Have had quite a lot of ovulation pain today. We didn't bd last night hubby was asleep very early and i couldn't bare to wake him up so we bd this morning and hopefully it has been enough! Really praying this is our month as I really am not looking fwd to another laparoscopy next month :( Gonna put hubby on sperm i prove next month too, his analysis came back really good but I guess its no harm in trying to make it even better!

Back to work busy busy! this cold weather makes me so lazy and unmotivated to do anything!! Week 4 of no drinking and i'm just dying for a large glass of Merlot!!!

Anyway babydust to you all praying for some good news here soon
