Morning Ladies

I am previously from the "Due in July 2017" group but unfortunately lost our precious angel baby girl (Morgan) on the 11th May (at 28 weeks). Although it was an extremely traumatizing time for the two of us we are trying to stay positive but I think just more than anything are dying to be blessed once again (not that she could ever be replaced). I had an amazing pregnancy (first). SO we are once again TTC! I had a natural birth (stillbirth) and no D&C as after a scan my Gynae did not feel it necessary. My body really bounced back very well.

It's exactly 5 weeks now post delivery and I bled for only a week after giving birth. Hoping AF will return soon so I can start tracking my cycle. I do know however that after giving birth you can ovulate pre AF arriving so I did buy some OPK's to try and work things out, have just been doing them randomly - all negative. I did have EWCM 2 weeks after delivery and my fiance and I have been doing the BD no BC (some say you should wait and heal emotionally, sorry if TMI, but I feel that it brings us closer emotionally). The whole experience has brought us closer. Anyway I know it can all take a while, I have my 6 PD checkup next week and will see how we are doing down there. I feel so empty now, dying to PG again.

Morning Girls!!

How is everyone doing?

I got a massive surprise this morning, AF decided to show up one day early this morning at around 3 this morning hahah!

So I guess my ovaries were just as excited as we are to get started, I phoned the clinic this morning to move my appointment up with one day.

We will now see the FS and start meds on Saturday :-)

Hi Reese!

I think ovulation day depends a lot on the length of your cycle, my ovulation is usually on Day 16 but my cycle is 30 Days give or take.

With OPK's I used the digital CB ones that is very accurate, I did a test on the morning CD15 which was negative, my Gynea did a scan that afternoon and she said that she can see I will ovulate very soon and that I should do a test when I got home and as sure as can be, when I got home that night the smiley was there. The next morning when I got to her she did another scan and confirmed that I have ovulated as all the follies that were there is gone. So this means I ovulated either very late on CD15 or in the early morning of CD16. I had smiley faces for two days in a row :-)

Good Luck hun! Hope the info helps a bit xxx

Hi
I had some very bad ovulation pain the whole of yesterday (CD13) but last evening it became worse.
We BD'd at 17h30 and 21h00 and I had bad cramps while BD'ing the second time and then it just disappeared.
I have not had any cramping again since last night.
All OPK's was positive yesterday - two very dark T-lines at 11PM on CD12 and 15h20 on CD13. Last positive OPK was at 20h00 last night.
I did a OPK again just now and it is negative. CP is still very high, very soft and open but opening is tilted upwards.
I honestly do not know if I O yesterday when I had the cramps or if O is still to come today CD14? Temp went up a teensy weensy bit this morning (had disrupted sleep due to daughter being sick), so I don't know if that's accurate.

I OD on CD13 my previous cycle. Anyone experienced something similar? Should I first just wait to see what my temp does tomorrow morning? Should I still BD tonight in case I O today?
I have had no ovulation pain today.

Thank you ladies for reading.

Halllooo There Ladies!!!

How is everyone doing?? So glad to see some new faces here, this is such a wonderful group!!

Soooo we went for our appointment today and it went absolutely wonderful!! The Dr is great and I could have not asked for a better progression of things for a day like today! So ladies here goes nothing:

We went in to see the doctor and discussed a bit of my medical/family history with him, I also took my previous progesterone test along for him to review, after that he did a lady part scan to check if everything is good to go hahah!

The scan went great, both ovaries are looking good and my uterus also received a thumbs up from the Dr :-) after that we sat down and he explained to us that we can start right away. He did sent me to have some blood work done on which I will most likely get the results tomorrow!

We are absolutely over the moon with joy! Now I am waiting for AF to arrive ( Due on Friday) so I can start with meds on Sunday!!

Will keep you ladies updated as out next appointment will be on Sunday if all goes well Xxxx

@ Mommiez, you are a lucky lady as flowers are wonderful. How did the appointment go? Excited for you

@ Reece, I normally go to Pathcare and have a Progesterone test done myself as have had so many that I can read the results myself. Mommiez is right, the take some blood and test the level of your Progesterone. A high level results in a good strong ovulation and a low level is a weak or no ovulation. If your OPK line was the darkest today then you will only ovulate 24-48hours from today so the doc is right in saying to BD on CD14-CD16.
Also pH levels and timing is the best in trying for a boy :) good luck

@ Ayesha, sending you hugs

Hi Ladies,
So an update:
I have had another 2 x positive OPK's after the one I took this morning at 05h20. I thought my chances of conceiving this cycle was gone but it seems I might still be in.
The last one I took just now - the Test line was darker than the C-line again? So means I have had another LH surge. Very weird because I normally O on CD13. FF app is saying that it might only be CD14 / CD15.
I am going to BD anyway tonight just in case. And still hopefully be in Boy zone!
