Hi Ladies

Thank you for the reassurance. :)
So I took another OPK last night @ 11pm and the test line was a lot darker than control line. DH and I did not get a chance to dtd last night or this morning and I'm afraid that we might have missed the chance to conceive this cycle. So today is CD13, and I did another test this morning (from a different brand) and the lines were still dark, but I'm not feeling the cramping so much, so I'm so so scared that I might have ovulated during the night or perhaps going to OD during today and then not get a chance tonight. :(

I will test again later this morning and another one this evening. FX.
I don't understand why doctor advised to only dtd on CD14, CD15 and CD16? I don't think I will OV that late. Especially when my OPK was this dark during the night?

Any advise ladies?

@Angel, welcome to you! We have a bunch of great ladies here to help us ttc.

@Mommiez, fx for you! Know it's gonna work out just fine! :)

Hi There Girls!!!

Thank you so much for all your support and messages, You guys rock!!

@ Reese I dont think that another baby would effect the other kids negatively, maybe just involve them with the pregnancy and I have seen a lot of families let the kids buy gifts for the baby and vice versa, this might be a positive way to introduce the kids to one another? On your second question in regards to the Progesterone test, from what I understand this is the way that they measure the "quality" of ovulation you had, the higher your progesterone the better your ovulation.

@ Angel Welcome to the chat! Great to see a new face! TTC is so expensive I feel your pain!

@ Jay-Bee sorry to hear about AF, maybe September will be your month! FX'ed for you!! Let us know about your progesterone tests :-)

AFM: I am so nervous I feel like Im a little girl that is going to school for the first time, hahaha! My partner bought my a big bouquet of roses for support for tomorrows appointment, she is the greatest! Im so nervous gals! I dont know what to expect, I really hope that its goods news and that we will be able to start this cycle.....

I let you guys know how it went :-) I will also update our Instagram account, for those of you who follow us xxxx

Hi Ladies!

So glad gals from the previous TTC 2017 group started talking here!

I have been rather quiet the last couple of months, was just so stressed and busy.

So here is my story:
I went to see FS on 29.05.2017 and we started my first cycle on Femara 2.5mg for 5 days from CD3-7 combined with Fostimon 75 on CD3,4,6,8 and 10 and went for scan on CD10 where egg was only 12mm with couple of other follies smaller in size. So he gave me more Fostimon CD11,12 and 13 and went for another scan on CD14 where egg was 15mm. FS was bit scared that more follies threatened to grow so he didn't want to chance just giving me trigger so instead gave me Fostimon again CD14 and 15 and on CD16 had last scan follie of just over 18mm so he gave me Pregnyl 5000 shot and said to have intercourse that night as well as CD 18,19 and 20. So now we are in exercise mode ;)
Will only phone for new appointment after 2 weeks then!
I am so scared that it won't work but on the other hand so positive because this was the first month that I could actually see the egg inside the follie as well as my lining is almost 7mm thick and I am having more cm which I never really had so has to be good signs right?

I am praying like mad because this month is already marking 1 year and 6 month of ttc! Plus the medications for this month alone cost me just around R4900 not including DH spermiogram R1500 which was perfect!

How are all you gals doing?

Hi Mommiez,
I was at the doctor this morning. I tested OPK and it looks positive to me, but CB is negative?? . Doctor did a scan and said that my cervix is not open completely and will need to wait another 2 days. I am on CD12 today (so it will be CD14 & CD15). Hubby and I were planning on TTC for a boy so planning of BD is critical apparently.

But I'm having "cold feet" - if you could say that. I really want another child (even if it does end up being another girl) but I am sooooo scared that my other 2 girls will feel neglected. My youngest is now 3 and we have sort of settled. She wasn't a easy baby. :silly: Having another baby will obviously cause changes. I know I will be okay with another child, but will my two girls be okay? Will they cope?

Maybe I'm just feeling emotional, but I have been having these thoughts in my head the whole weekend. Hubby says whatever I decide is fine with him. (Doesn't help much.)

Is this feeling normal?
