Hi ladies,

I have been following the stories on here even though I didn't comment much.

I am currently on CD12. Went to doctor yesterday on CD11 and showed me my follicle is 18mm in my left ovary. I have two in my right ovary about 11mm. So I will ovulate from my left. I have always had a +OPK on CD10/CD11 = OV on CD12/13 = confirmed with temp spike the next day, but never got pregnant. So doctor told me that according to follicle size, I will ovulate on CD13/CD14.
I had a +OPK on CD10???

I am so scared that I will miss my window if I wait to BD. Especially if trying for a boy..

@Jay-Bee - so happy to hear you are also TTC a boy! :-) We will be going through this journey together! I was following boy diet and taking supplements and vitamins, but after a very clear message that I received from the Lord, about me wanting to control everything in my life which is actually out of my hands, I stopped taking them. It also interfered with my cycle making it shorter.

So now I am learning to trust (which is very difficult for me!) but I have made up my mind! I have been trying to 5 months to do things MY WAY and I am not pregnant - so now I am trusting in the Lord to provide me with whichever gender He has chosen for me. He knows the desires of my heart. :)

@CarienM - Amen to that! I am praying that AF does not arrive and that you have your BFP!

I really hope we hear some great news from ladies next week. :-)

Enjoy the weekend.

Me: 31
DH: 33
DD1: 7yrs (our beautiful ballerina)
DD2: 3yrs (our little tornado! :-))

BFP - 11DPO - 13/11/2017 - TWINS!!!

@JayBee01 - completely agree, I have made peace with the fact that we are so not in control of what goes for what with everything in our lives, never mind the little humans, we can try (and we will) but what we get is what God intends for us to have. I didn't get anything more yesterday, so I am now on day 26 of my cycle, hopefully I wont see AF today so that at least I have another 26 day cycle (its been more on the 25 day side for this year and I know more than 25 is better, 25 is not bad, but more is better). There are some serious swaying groups on FB, I joined two last night just to take a look around and will look around a bit more today.

@Ayesha07 - really sorry to hear you are out for this cycle, may the baby dust fairy come your way next cycle

AFM - I am not holding my breath for this cycle any more, have made peace that I am most likely out for this cycle based on the little bit of spotting yesterday, and I am not as negative as I was yesterday, will just look onward and upward.

Wishing everyone a happy healthy day :)

@ BabyMaybe, Fertomid is the generic of Clomid and if one does not ovulate it does help, it just depends on oneself and the dosage that your body needs to ovulate.

@ CariemM, with my first and only I was on a diet so ate loads of salads and all dairy (loads of calcium) and BD 5 days and 3 days before ovulation and on ovulation day and had a girl. I am on the gender sway FB page  and just eat potatoes, red meat, tomatoes etc (potassium rich foods) and going to BD on ovulation day +1 and nothing before. Don't get me wrong as any gender is such a blessing and God has a plan but we are "swaying" for fun.
Where are you now in your cycle

* TTC baby #1 for 1.5 years
(tried naturally for 1 year - anovulatory cycles)
(medicated Fertomid cycles for 5 months)
BFP - 1 Sept 2015 - un medicated cycle
TTC baby #2 - October 2017
BFP - 3 January 2018

TTC baby #3 in 2021

Thanks for the welcome ladies, hoping to have a BFP soon. I do however find myself particularly negative today, started last night, i guess b/c I have not been feeling any symptoms so I figured we are out of the running for this cycle. Before and after my 1st baby, my cycles were like clockwork 28 days, then after my cycle came back after breastfeeding my 2nd baby it was a bit random which is understandable, but since they have settled, I am on 25/26 day cycles, mostly 25 which is not great, I know a short cycle is not a good thing either. We went to see a doc to do an unmedicated IUI the two cycles before this one (this is how I know I am ovulating normally and that my husbands swimmers are all good) and he didnt seem to be concerned with the length of my cycles, but we didnt get a BFP on those, then today, I am having very very light spotting (brownish and stringy), mostly b/c I wanted to check my cervix and then retrieved some "spotting" if that makes sense (sorry for the TMI). If AF does unpack her horrible bags today, that is really concerning b/c then that means its a 24 day cycle and most likely equates to a dr trip. Anyway, i am just trying to not be so super negative. I know this "spotting" could be implantation, but 2 things on that 1)I did not have implantation bleed w/ my first two, so dont really have anything to compare it to and 2) really dont want to get my hopes up to just get dashed down (but still trying to be super positive about everything...its such a catch 22). Has anybody else had it?

@Jay-Bee01 - interested to see where you got your boy diet from and to see what you are trying? Also trying the girl diet (which mostly means I am taking a fair amount of calcium and magnesium supplements). We BD'd about 3 days away from my ovulation (could be a couple hours less than 3 days but I am pretty confident its closer to the 3 day side than the 2.5 day side), which I would have thought was good, but hell, what do I know...

@Cands0490 - a good friend of mine gets them regularly, she has PCOS though, just had one of 6x8cm, she generally says they hurt like hell, then she gets put on antibiotics and they get smaller and eventually resolve, and apparently when you get your period again, they should go away completely but you should expect a rougher time during your AF days (just going on what she has told me)
