Time to begin TTC 2018!

Hi Everyone

Been months since I have been on this chat group. Been lovely catching up on each one's journey.

AFM..... 3 failed IUIs. 2nd one was successful but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. FS has now suggested we move to IVF. I'm really nervous. For one, its so difficult to handle the failed treatments. Secondly, IVF procedure is so expensive - so we need to save up before we can give the FS the go ahead

Any advice from you ladies to prep for IVF? Dieting, exercising, reconditioning the mind?

I'm currently on Pregnacare and CoQ10

I went to the FS for our follow-up appointment and he suggested that we have a "natural" implantation procedures, where they follow your cycle and implant 2 embies once you have ovulated. So minimal medication, just the trigger and a few others and much cheaper. He also mentioned that he was baffled by the result of the IVF since everything was okay and that my uterus would have been receptive. DH and I spoke about this and have decided to try again naturally for a few cycles but keep this as an alternative. He said that my ovaries were sleeping and he suspects that I haven't ovulated, ag I don't know , currently on CD 25 and having terrible cramps since CD 14. So we'll have to wait and see, AF is due in the next week or so...

Just a quick one from me, wishing you ladies all the best for this week for your various appointments and check ups etc, will be thinking of you all! AFM I'm not entirely sure of cycle day, haven't been onto my app the past week or so but think I ovulated this weekend. Had a scan & quick consult with the FS last week before my impending Laparoscopy on Wednesday, all seemed fine from the outside. I won't lie i'm feeling nervous and scared but its mostly just the big needle for anaesthetic, but I think the experience this time will be way better compared to last time with that awful gynae. Will keep you all posted once i'm up and about!

Hi ladies. I'm new to this forum. Going for my final follicle sizing tomorrow. Second IVF cycle. Praying follicles are okay to trigger this week and then trying IUI. any success stories that'll give me hope?
