Hi There Ladies!!!

How is everyone doing??

I have read through all your posts and I am so sorry about all the disappointment and heart break :-( I wish I could hug you all and tell you that all will be well xxx

Its so horrible to go through such a struggle and to end up with disappointment every month, or a failed IUI / IVF but in the end everything will work out I know it! Do what feels right for you, if you need a break take a break, if you need a drink have one!

We have been just having fun after our failed IVF cycle, we have seen a trauma councilor and I feel we are pretty much healed after the horrid experience we went through, just because we did what felt right. I feel that even though our previous cycle was such a disaster, we have learnt so much and actually grown a little, we feel much better prepared for our second IVF cycle, so all is not completely lost...

In our previous cycle I did not drink at all, I put a lot of pressure on myself to lose weight and this time around I am surely taking things on a lighter note, still drinking now and then (when I feel like it) and not placing so much emphasis on doing whats right and whats not.

Our appointment is the 25th of Aug at our new clinic and I am even feeling a tad excited about our appointment :-)

I will keep you guys updated on our progress :-)

Baby dust to all of you wonderful gals and I know our beautiful rainbow babies are waiting for us and they will come at exactly the right time xxx

Hi Ladies, hope you are still good on this pre holiday:woohoo: :woohoo:

@Salamien, I feel your pain and sometimes all you need is a little break just to recoup. Trust in the Lord, it will happen. *HUGS*

@Nicola, All the best with the LAP, all will be well. Let's keep the faith.
As for the diet, I'd love to try it out especially if it makes one gain " healthy weight". I am 33 y/o and still weigh below 50kgs. The FS and my GYN are happy with my weight but hey anything to help with conception. Please share once you've tried it out.

@Hope, that month is coming!

AFM, some days are better than others *Sigh*, ran into my neighbour a few days ago and she told me that she is pregnant, a little over 18 weeks now. Well, I also saw the tiny bump. Then to top things off my 43y/o cousin told me that she's 20 or so weeks pregnant too. Both these were " surprise' pregnancies   , I guess it's all God's timing.

Started spotting a few days after AF ( which has never happened before), maybe it from the extra estrogen and progesterone from the IVF. Also been having AF typa cramp on my lower abdomen especially on the RT side of my pelvis. Ovulation maybe?!? I have an appointment with the FS on Friday and will surely ask about this.

Baby dust to you all and still hopeful that we will get our BFP soon.

Enjoy your PH tomorrow...
Love T

So sorry Hope. Nothing worse than feeling all of those symptoms and getting our hopes up. Its happened to me more than a few times especially my first month of taking Fertomid and it is just the worst disappointment when AF comes. Pray you get your miracle soon xxxx

Has anyone ever tried a fertility diet? I eat pretty healthy but have picked up 6kg since we moved back to SA end of 2015 and have failed miserably trying to lose it, battling to get motivated to get into the gym and to eat healthy all week rather than just monday-Thursday! Thinking of trying out a fertility diet over the next few months to see how it goes. Problem is we have a VERY tight grocery budget so I can't afford to buy things like almonds and nuts & almond milk and fish etc that all these diets seem to ask for, we shop very basic but still try to be healthy. surely there is an old school type diet out there, anyone know?

Hope you all have a wonderful Women's day tomorrow

Hi Ladies, I haven't posted in a while. Have had a huge life change moving 600km away from a place I called home for 26 years. Anyway, so far it breaks my heart to see so many ladies here losing hope. Then at the same time some are owning this journey, headstrong and pulling forward. Guess its all our ups and downs.....
I wanted to just share something regarding this last cycle of mine. Its shown me how unpredictable our bodies actually are. As I've grown a bit older I seem to now be on a 30 to 32 day cycle. As you can imagine, its left me with many broken hearted days when I POAS CD29 and AF comes the next day or 2.
This cycle, I didn't care. Only DTD twice but possibly too early before OV. This morning at CD28 I got the first little drops of AF. And I feel nothing about it.... What is unusual though is that this cycle I had every PG symptom under the sun, even though in my heart I just knew we hadn't timed it right.

I had: stuffy nose, headache, trouble sleeping, crazy thirst, wee wee often but battled to get my bowel to move, hot thighs, wind and mild cramping with slight yellow tinge to cm. Along with that though, was 2 new ones. Really achey lower back started 2 days ago and from about 4 days ago my BB's starting aching and tingling to the point where my nipples felt on fire. I couldn't dry myself down with a towel without hurting myself.
AF came and all those things are still present but will probably pass over the next day or two. They say that a woman can just feel PG, well, some can. All those symptoms though, just screamed AF at me because all I had with DS was reflux and sore BB's.
Our bodies are cruel. To know we have the potential to give life but then deny us, month after month. But ONE month, THAT month, will be our month. Just gotta hold onto your hope.

hi ladies

@Salemein i'm so sorry :( I wish things could be different today. But I think your plan is a good one and will do you the world of good. You've been through an extremely traumatic time and your body possibly just needs more time to recover. You will definitely be blessed again hun, but take some time out for you and hubby and Kian will guide you. Thinking of you xxxx

@Lagogies fingers crossed for you xxx

AFM....my fat lady sang yesterday :( The pain was just ridiculous, spent all afternoon with my hot water bottle popping myprodols. Honestly if this specialist doesn't find any endometriosis then i would love to know why I suffer with so much pain :( Anyway my lap is booked for the 23rd so won't be trying this month, will wait and see the outcome and take it from there. But I think we may also just try forget about it for a little while and focus on us. I am battling with the disappointment each month and I end up taking my sadness and frustration out on my hubby even though he faces the disappointment too. So I need to just get myself back to normal again!

Will keep checking in with you all, fingers crossed and lots of babydust
xxx
