HI Ladies!

FRIDAY YAY! I didn't have any public holiday on tuesday as I was working on month-end so it has been a normal work week for me.
6 days to go till my lining scan. Taking 4 estrogen pills a day. Been quite crampy and sore, I am hoping that is my lining waking up! I pray that it will be nice and juicy and comfy for my babies to settle in!

I am still secretly hoping for twins! hubby doesn't mind, but also says one at a time is best. To be honest, one or two is perfect, One healthy, happy little baby will make my world so much brighter.

T Minus 13 days till transfer of my two embryos. I am being positive, eating right, exercising lightly. I will be pregnant soon! Positive affirmation is the best!

The sweet potato is because it has natural phyto estrogens - apparently they increase hyperovulation which should assist in releasing more than one egg for fertilisation...

Obviously there isn't any testing done on that, but I don't mind another excuse to eat more of my favourites :D

There is a tribe in northern africa who eat a lot of cassava (a yam - we call it tapioca) - they have the highest incidence of twins in the world. It's thought their staple yam is very good for hyperov, but try and find any tapioca in this country now! I have been searching. The closest I can find it a type of flour, and i don't think that will have the same effects...

Baby dust precious ladies!

Hi Ladies, I hope everyone is well.

A warm welcome to everyone, still hopeful that we will be getting BFP soon

We have been TTC'ing since 2016, 2 failed IVF's and 2 loses later but still hopeful for a rainbow soon.

@ Ayesha, my condolences to you and your family. I pray you have the strength to face this difficult time. I will be keeping you in my prayers
@ Jess, sorry for your loss. Sweet potatoes sound interesting plus I love sweet potatoes. Hope all works out
@ Madie, sorry for your loss. Do not worry you are at the right place. The support from all these ladies is incredible
@ Cands, all the best for the 10th. FX for you.

AFM, CD 45 and still no AF but a few mild cramps and twitches here and there. I am too afraid to POAS :tmi: , I do not want to see another BFN. I have, however, booked a gynae visit for next week Wednesday just in case and according to my Flo, I am 10 days late. Willing to wait it out though since I was also late in March, I think AF eventually came on CD40 or so...

Thank you cands. I Am finding closure in the sense that he's not suffering anymore. I must say that I truly admire my gran. They were married 58 years and her strength is so admirable.

Been surrounded by pregnant women since the funeral and it's eating me but my time will come. I have faith in that. Currently waiting for AF to show in a week and then start cycle 2.
