Some tests that can detect small amounts i.e 20Mlu HCG may be able to detect a Positive but it's still not always acurate. I think the dischem brand is only at about 50Mlu or so, could be even higher. That would not have been my first test of choice. I tested twice with that brand with my son and it was BFN, then I got the click brand the same day and it was BFP, this was all 4 days before AF was due.

CP position is not a good indicator as the Cervix does move up and soften during pregnancy but this often only happens after the 12th week in some woman. each woman is different so I wouldn't bargain on that as your benchmark.

Meags, I am a firm believer in only testing when you have a reason to test... Spare myself the heartache!

I just want to ask as from what i hear, one is not suppose to test until AF is late...so are you testing as you thought it was long enough after O to get a result?? Perhaps waiting until AF is late is better so not to be disappointed by a negative that may be negative because it's too early?

I am saying this yet I am not even TTC yet and already a POAS addict! haha
