I applied at Bephany House in Kdp last year but also wasn't very impressed with the reception I got, the lady took forever to email me back and when she did told me I need to take classes to become a volunteer and the classes were over for the year so sorry - wasn't impressed

I'd love to join you at some stage, I wanted to do volunteer work for a while now!

Well I am not going to do gym stuff. I am only going for the classes like Zumba, hip hop, belly dancing etc. I dont really like exercise

Lighthouse was very off towards me.
I called the lady as visiting times was over and asked her a few questions, told her I'm a nurse, volunteer at another orphange since 2006. I asked how many babies they have, the babies ages, what kind of assistance they need, if they allow foster care etc etc.

She gave me 1 word answers, was very unimpressed by my call and said I had to apply to be a volunteer. she said she'd email me the form and she never did.

So I don't have a good vibe about that place...have you been there?

The orphanage I go to is a little far. It's in Florida but I've been there almost 5 years and help the house mom, help with medical stuff so I'm like part of their team and for me it's worth the drive.
