And another useful piece of info is, Fertomid/Clomid stays awhile in your system after you have stopped taking it, so yes you may just ovulate this month, so i would see it has a benefit

Ika - so sorry for your loss. Hope you're feeling ok.

Juandre - Cycles are very confusing. I stopped taking my BCPills more than a year ago. Had very regular 28 day cycles, every month. In Feb this year the gynea said that I don't Ov so it is possible to have a regular cycle and still not OV.

Dr said not to take Fertomid this cycle due to the MC buggering up my cycle, so have to wait for the next cycle. Still feel like "practicing". I mean, a month not trying is an opportunity lost. Or what do you think. I usually have very bad pains around OV ( which is about CD 15/16) so I spoke to DH and think we still gonna try. Maybe the previous rounds of Fertomid kickstarted my hormones and just maybe I Ov on my own!!!.

No news my side really. Just getting these teeth out so I can start some serious TTC from next month again!! AF due the 20th - same day as my teeth op! Lovely! Hehe!

Hayley- she said it could take a few months. That everone is different. She said that if after 3 months they are still very irregular (given that I have always had a 28 day cycle) I should see my gynae.
Thanks for the information. Like I said above I have always had a regular cycle and with both my girls (although they have different fathers) I fell pregnant the first month of trying as I knew the exact day I would ovulate. So this is all very new for me.

I think for my own sanity if it happens again next month I will go see my gynae and have a check up.

Juandre, you do get cycles like that, its known as unovulatory cycles so you wouldnt ovulate hence the unovulatory part... Google it for more info

If this is the case then Fertomid/Clomid is introduced to stimulate the ovaries and produce more than one follicle

So when did your midwife say your cycles will come right?

Hayley- I spoke to my midwife this morning and she said that my cycle will be very irregular to begin with and that it will be hard for me to monitor when I will ovulate until things settle. I wonder if you can have a cycle where you dont ovulate, maybe that happened to me.
So I guess if we are going to ttc we will just have to have lots and lots of bd... DH will be excited about that!!!
