Hello everyone,
2KM, im sorry to hear about your dad. any cancer diagnosis is scary, a brain tumour doubly so. my mother in law had one, and i remember what a shock the news was.
Gosh, it feels like ages since i posted. i think at the time i was wallowing in misery at another negative HPT. I have some happier news to report this time around.
Im 10 dpo today and gave in to the testing demons this morning. 10 mins later... no line. an hour or so later a faint faint faint *is it really there* line (clicks test). now the last time this happened i tortured myself for 3 days of second lines appearing after the 10 minute period before i put myself out of my misery and went for a blood test. This time, i marched straight to Pathcare and just got the results. BFP!!! and an HCG level of 35. wow, those clicks tests are pretty sensitive (moral of a story, hold on to your test for a couple of hours even if you're not supposed to!)
Anyway, Im sharing here because I know all too well how other peoples bfp's gave me hope. its my 5th month of trying since my miscarriage... and finally its happened to me. lets hope this one sticks. its hard to get too excited before that first glimpse of a heartbeat... but im going to stay positive.
I hope this bfp is the catalyst for many many more
