Oh my friend, I wish I could help you. It all sounds so horrible. I can only imagine how you are feeling with everything as you really have had a crappy time health wise. Medical aids really do suck of late. Thinking of you loads and will be thinking of you.

Klk : Don't worry - we all seem to leave the nursery until last minute (well, I did too anyway), and regardless, it always comes out just right and finished on time. Can't believe you so far already!! So so scary!!

Aanaa : I have had those moments plenty. I put mine down to just plain hormones. We can hit moods from hell out of no where, and for no apparent reason. Our men are generally always in the firing line.

AFM : Well, appointment was long, literally painful, but very informative.
I can't begin to type all that was said and found in the app though, just too busy to type the full story now. But basically he found a whole host of problems.
Lining is far too thick for this part of my cycle - should be 10mm when af is due, mine is already 15mm and I'm still a week and a half from af. This means the tissue backs up in the uterus & goes up the fallopian tubes etc. So that's prob #1. Then he found abnormalities behind my cervix, between my rectum & vagina and along the top of my bowels (under the diaphragm). This could be endo related, or not. He wanted to do a rectal exam and I told him in a VERY firm manner NO finger was being insterted in THAT hole right there & then. After 3 days of upset stomach, there is NO way my No Entry was being proded and probed. So he will do that in the op thank the pope.
He also found my right ovary scrunched up & hiding behind my uterus. He found a large fibroid in my uterus, and alot of fluid & black spots all over the place around my ovaries & uterus.
There was more, but can't type it all now. So I am going for the laporoscopy, hysteroscopy, d&C etc etc in 2 weeks time. He will only operate after my af starts.
So that's it in a nutshell.....oh, and a R4250.00 co-payment to be made in full up-front on the day of the op.....nice.....like I have spare cash right now after all these other appointments & med's.....
I truly feel so depro, I'm ready to just divorce my own body. I can't handle any more pain, bad news & financial hits right now.

Shame Tracy, I do feel for you my friend. Sounds like hell! I know we chatted briefly on Whatsapp but hopefully you come on and explain exactly what was found in your appt.

I know cannot believe that I am 26 weeks already. Belly is growing! Way bigger than when I was with preggies with C. Feeling super uncomfortable already and stressing as nothing has been done on the nursery and there is LOADS to do. Ai ya ya.

Anyhoo....hope everyone else is ok.

AFM- I am feeling very angry with DH , for no apparent reason . Can only think of the bad moments , as if that's only what we have , which is so not true and to top it he's not even here

Hi ladies.

Lomng time no chat! My fault though. After the scarelt fever I ended up getting this horrible flu virus doing the rounds (my system has ZERO immunity right now, so I have been warned I will catch anything & everything going around).
And to top it off, my kidney started up again while I was off sick last week. My GP phoned my surgeon from February up straight away and she agrees the endo is possibly growing on the kidney, causing it to be highly irritated etc.
So he made an emergency booking with a really good (apparently - he normally has a 6 motnh waiting period for bookings) gynae in ARWYP. So I have the app at 3:15pm today. He will most probably book me in for another laporoscopy ASAP (I'm perfect in my cycle for them to get me in straight away if needs be).
So after today I should have a few more answers - or at least clear steps I'm going to be taking anyway.
This is becoming a bit much now!!!!!!!!
