Hello Ladies

Glad to see everyone is doing well and that some of you are approaching your testing time ;)

So an update on the IUI on Monday. LOL I giggle everytime thinking of it.
My IUI was scheduled for 10.30 and my Fiances sample was scheduled for 9.30. Anyway my fiance went in for his sample at 10. I was lucky coz i could help my man in the 'happy room' as they call it. My fiance had a stroke when he was 19 so his right arm doesnt work properly. Anway so i got to help him get the soldiers out. LOL poor men, its a small room with like a chair and 2 porno mags. Shame. o and there was even a pregnancy mag lol dont know if that was meant to be there. Maybe adds motivation lol
So we were told to go have breakfast for an hour while the sperm gets washed. We went back and I was laying on the bed waiting for the specialist. When he came in he asked that i move my bum to the edge of the bed. Might i add that since saturday my left ovary has been pushing on my bladder so i have been visiting the loo frequently. anyway my legs were put in the stirrups and the soldiers were inserted. Wasnt uncomfortable at all. Just felt warm lol so he told me to lay there for 20min.
So my fiance was cracking jokes and making my laugh alot. So 20min was up,. i got up and thought i may aswell slide of at the end of the bed BIG mistake coz the bottom part of the bed has no support. LOL the bed flipped up behind me. LOL i looked like i was on a one man see saw. Gosh we giggle like school kids.
Anyway my FS asked that i wait 3 weeks before testing. which i was gonna do anyway.
So since we were in Durban we did some early baby shopping LOL positive hey!
I really think it worked first time. So will wait patiently to test.

Which hpt's did you ladies use that worked well?

Oh WOW am I sore!! I can barely walk.and the pain is now on both ovaries. But,I'm very proud,I still got another bd in - told dh to keep his eyes closed so he doesn't see the pained look on my face.
So,I'm pretty sure these eggs are popping tonight. And yes, with this pain on both ovaries,I'm pretty darn sure its an egg on each!!

Have a lovely evening ladies!

Hmmmm....2KM maybe wait a bit longer before testing but if you would rather put your mind at rest, test sooner. If it were me, half of me would be im testing now and the other half would be WAIT! Well whatever you decide...Good luck!

2KM : Well, that is why I have been in a fuss! I always ov between CD12 and CD14, and have a 14 day LP every month without fail.
NOW, the first month on Fertomid, I only got my +OPK on CD17, which means I will ov between CD17 & CD19. That is a FIRST for me...
So yes, it is definately possible to ov that "late". As long as you have a 12 - 14 LP, then it's all good...
Obviously 14 day LP being the "ultimate in perfect LP length".

So, you might have a point and have ovulated later. THAT'S when charting can come in soooo handy ;)
Well, test tomorrow (no pressure...heehee), and IF it's a BFN, then you can test again on CD33, 14 days after your new suspected ov day :P

Strikkie, I have absolutely no idea how long my LP usually is. i never know when I ovulate but I thin that the clomid has lengthened my cycle somewhat. Gynie did say I could possibly o later but I didn't think that late.

Geez, but it is quiet in here. :)

2KM, how long is your LP usually? Maybe wait to test then till your longest cycle or your usual LP.

Technically speaking that would then not be a good thing because that would mean my Luteal phase is too short.
