O yes, we also had one were you had to bring a story book and write on the front page for the baba a message. So mommy could read the story to baba one day.

My other friend themed her room Winny the pooh and they had a massive winny the pooh book and they used that as the guest book for everybody to sign.

One of my friends had her second baba and the invite came from the elder brother! It said something like: ''Joshua want to invite you to his sisters, Cecillia's babyshower.''
was nice as it involved the elder subling?

I have always loved the BFP poem! You will have to change some of the words to make it work as an invite. But I have always loved it.

For my suster in law I phoned a few vendors ect and asked them if they would like to come a present for free to the ladies at the baby shower. So we had a sleep therapis who came and talked about sleep training, and a toddler music class for the moms and tots and cpr training. They could all leave pamplets and hand out business cards. Guest loved it.

Mine was at a venue. We had cigars for the men, and the women just sat around and chat. I placed friends together and then kept a chair at each tabel open for me to open gifts, so that nobody had to sit for hours while I was opening.

My suster, we had in Cape Town at ''Ons huisie'' was lovely, they had a spit. But everybpdy had to bring a baby grow and we had a Washing line that we put up and as the guest came in the hang up the babygros. Her second baby I made a daiper cake for her. Was heaps of fun and made a great decoration center piece.

My cousin we had it arund the pool, and I went to a sweety factory and got those massive sweet suckers as decor.
But ask her what is her room theme, then you can co oridinate the party theme with room theme, then she can use some of the decor afterwards.

Im in mpumalanga. Mom is 28, babygirl, very prim and proper (shy) lol. So i think no funny stuff. Not formal please She is the type of girl thats pink crazy so i think the room and everything will be pink.
About 20 women. Dh said he will braai for the men so i will organise with the men to bring a pack of nappies for the dad2be. I once got a nice invite "from baby to guest - something" but i've lost it, maybe i must sms everyone with invite and give them some normal thankyou gift with poem from baby. Or must i do the old invitation style?

strikkie: where are you based? Let's brain storm your stork party! I have done so many. Tell us about the mom to be? where it will be? nuber of guest? fun or formal? Boy or girls ect....

Nope dh didnt have sa yet, but we will try to get that done asap.

And then to top it all: i got the go ahead with friends stork party, sooooo unfair, but anyway ~ i need invation wording or ways to invite and afrikaans wording or stuff. Please any advice would be nice!!
