Laliek - some homes are really horrible.
I wanted to volunteer at the one near Northgate and they only allow you to apply for a specific day, specific time, which as a shift worker, I couldnt do. I explained that as a nurse I work different shifts every week and she just never got back to me!!!!!!

Acres of love also likes you to commit to a certain day and time and if you start missing any of those commitments, you are then kicked out!

I now work for an orphanage in florida (well I have been for 5 years) but it's a little out the way. they have also just implemented visiting times but at least they are more than happy to have volunteers and you dont need to go on courses or anything

Meags yes we're assisting with clothes and gifts for some children from Nkosi House and also helping out with some goodies that will be delivered to squatter camps.

I would like to be more pro-active though next year if I can. I've tried to contact a few children's homes for volunteer work quite a while back but was told quite rudely I have to attend courses to assist with volunteer work. And honestly with the IUI's and everything that happened this year I was a bit selfish and didn't really follow up again on attending the courses or going to other homes. *blush* I"ll start with it again next year hopefully

laliek I am having a christmas party on sunday in diepsloot for 10 children. my old maid picks 10 kids and i buy them gifts and sweets and we have a little party in her shack!

Tanasha I hope so as well. I have been very naughty and also POAS on Tuesday morning (I didn't say anything because it was a clear BFN). And when I looked at that test there's no second line on there, only on the ones from yesterday afternoon and this morning. But only time will tell

Oh and PF, it could be inplantation or AF starting, fingers crossed its IB!
