2kidmamma, ouch that sounds like a really horrible experience My hubby had a kidney stone last year and Ive never seen him like he was that day.. I thought something serious happened and he is dying!!! I would def say go have them sorted out with the laser treatment. Also someone gave us a recipe of a drink you can take to prevent them.. cant remember exactly but its boiled water with lemon juice and glucose that you drink every day for a week or something like it.. will see if I can find it.

Oh and the high tea sounds amazing!!

Tanasha a ferning microscope is a gadget that you put saliva onto and then wait to dry and then view it through the microscope. at the fertile time in your cycle a certain kind of ferning can be seen which would obviously indicate that ovulation is near.

I called my gynea/fs this morninga s they said i should call if AF takes longer than 5 weeks, so i have an appointment on Thursdaya nd then they will propably give me something to bring up AF and regulate my cycles the receptionist said.

Hi IlseW, yes it was Vergelegen. I would normally go to stellenbosch which is where I had both my kids but vergelgen was on our way and I couldt wait. I've never liked vergelegen but I had no choice really. They seemed so disinterested in me as patient, it wasn't even funny!

Not much to report on my side. On CD5 and AF was nice and short this month. She's already gone!! So tonight we can start practising again!! I used my Ferning Microscope for a change and I had some partial ferning yesterday and this morning, so I don't know what's up with that. It's still very early in my cycle....

Hi Ladies

Tanz, once again CONGRATULATIONS!!

so we went for high tea at the Mount Nelson on Saturday and it was divine. Anybody in Cape Town that has never done it should really do it even if it is just once. My word what a selection of food and so relaxing and Posh. The Kids were with Granny and Gramps this weekend so we could just do our own thing and it was lovely. The weekend was perfect till about 3pm yesteray afternoon when we climbed in the Car for the 60km trip to my parents. I started getting a pain in my pelvic area and i've felt that pain before and believe me it get a lot worse before it gets better. as I suspected it got worse and worse and worse so much that I basically screamed all the way down the mountain again and through the traffic jam of weekenders returning home. I didn't know how to sit or lie in the car and I threw up twice (TMI sorry) from the pain. screamed at my husband to get me to the emergency room because this was a lot worse than the last two times. When we finally got off the mountain and to the emergency I had to wait for ages and they couldn't even tell me when I could see a dr and they couldn't even give me a bed to lie on (This is private hospital people) Anyway I said to my DH to get me home because i had some of the same meds the dr prescribed last time (Serious anti-inflamitories) and so we went home and I dived inside to get them.I threw up again another 2 times and Still writhed in pain for a good hour more and then suddenly it passed, another irritating Kidney stone. So just as fast as the pain appeared it dissapeared. Kidney stones are no joke and this is my 3rd attack in the last 2 years. I'm going to go have to have it seen to. It was such a nightmare afternoon, esspecially the time stuck in the car on the mountain in all this pain. My Kids were so upset by it all.

I must tell you someting else amazing though. do you all beleive in 6th sense/ well my 4 year old daughter had a nightmare on Saturday night which she explained to my Mom on Saturday morning. She said she dreamt Mommy was holding her tummy tight and was bent over crying and walking funny!! Hows that hey?
