Sounds like a fund that I would support! I think we might get some men joining with the wrong odea if we put wine, shots and knocked up in one website. But hey, we will get this sorted out!

No symptoms for me, I have a terrible cold so I am all snotted up. Last night while we were BD'ing I was on top and then I sneezed and i sneezed all over DH, he had snotties all over! He was like eeeuuuw and then we both just ended up laughing. He must really love me because we managed to continue afterwards ... I have no one else to share this story with so i thought i would share it with you girls

Laliek: we can raise funds for your IVF! We get a rgoup together and say for each R10 donated we will drink a shot of wine. We will get pretty drunk, but atleast we will get the money. (Ok maybe doing something like a spinnning marathon is a bit more decent, but shots would be great!)

Will the cost go down if you do it through a Semi-government hospitals as they also do IVF treatments?
Ons of my friends friends friend..get the idea... had her IVF at an academic hospital in Pretoria.They do it for half the cost - as long as you are prepared to be "studied" by medical students.

Also heard that you can use First Health Finance, who specialise in payment plans for non medical aid procedures. They cover IVF.But think, not sure, The interest rate is quite high.

Cant you just take a higher dose of Clomid?

Life is so unfair sometimes, eveyone of us here deserves to be a mommy, I just wish God would hurry up and make it happen already!

(ek weet dis nie dieselfde situasie as joune) Maar tog bly daar altyd die bietjie hoop Hy sal dit nie altyd van ons weghou nie, andersins is ek op aarde vir ander doel as om 'n mamma te wees. Thanks Ika, I am actually planning on sneaking away early today as we have the madame zingara show tonight so I'll definitely take your advice

Ika I only reacted well on clomid the first month thereafter same thing, didn't get follies, with my last IUI I only had 1. Now with Fertomid and Menopur injections it's same thing and doc said he's not going to do IUI with 1 again as they wan't to have two or three at least. For some reason my body just builds up resistance quickly against meds, I've always had that problem with anitbiotics as well - I can only take a course once then next time it doesn't work for me.

DH is actually ok, he has 8% morphology which is a bit low but not THAT bad. The problem is with me - it looks like even if the eggies are there, they just shrink sometimes and then they're gone (that's what doc picked up with previous sonar as well).

I went the herbalist and homeopath route before we even considered any treatments as treatments was my last resort but nothing helped.

Ag but we'll see, maybe doc will put me on stronger meds or something but he did say if this 3rd iui doesn't work we'll probably have to consider IVF
