TTC 2012 Group Year of the ball, Year of the bump

DH and me both 33 years. Married for 5 years and still very much inn love!!

I'm one of those that thought that I will fall pg in the very first month of trying...and was it not a shock to find out that it is apparently a lot harder than just doing the deed and conceiving out of the blue. I must admit that I'm still angry that it is not easy for the 2 of us to just fall pg...while other seem to get a BFP while they are drinking, smoking, not lying down after BD, living on chocolates, are on BCP and not wanting to have children. ARGGG....

We started TTC in May 2009. All my bloods and pelvic scans show all is well. I ovulate very strong and has never had a progesterone blood test done with a score lower than 32. My DH semen analysis is normal with VERY good morphology and motility and count and all. I've been placed on Clomid and this is my 4th cycle. I will see a fertility specialist in October....and are preparing myself that he will probably want to do a laparoscopy. Very SCARED about that!! Only had my wisdom teeth took out when I was in school...and since then...nada!

It feels a bit weird to just "butt-in"...but I'm not sure where to post. I'm new on your forum (have been following it for some time)..but only decided recently to register.

I've been TTC for 16 months...without any success and have reached a point where I feel like giving up.

Claire - I went for CD21 tests, so progesterone, 17OH-progesterone, FSH etc, plus lots of other hormones like cortisol and TSH, T4 etc to see if all levels are what they should be and if it isn't a hormonal imbalance that is the problem.
