My cousin repeatedly got BFN on HPT, eventually went for bloods and got a BFP. So yes, it is possible to get a false Negative.
Don't loose hope and go for bloods, they are FAR more accurate.

I am on CD31 and 13DPO. Also did a HPT - BFN, But my Temp is staying high, so I am not loosing hope. I usualy have a LP Phase of 12 days, so technically I am late. I wil go for Bloods Tomorrow and see what happened, I know that I OV'd because we had bloods done. Really hoping the Femara, Glucophage, Folic acid and Vit B6 did the trick this month!

Well firstly, I bought those Dischem brand HPT's.

Stressing - Well, nothing out of the ordinary. I tend to stress easily about things, especially getting pregnant but it has never affected AF before.......so I am not sure

I phoned the sister at my gynae's office & she said I should wait until friday & if AF doesn't arrive, I must give her call then she will send me a form for bloods. She says there is alot of things that can cause AF to be late & it could have still been too early for the urine test to show positive.

She said she will consult with my doc if the bloods come back negative...

Not sure if I must buy a different brand & quickly test friday morning again..

Momtoc, did you buy the ealry detector? or maybe go for bloods, hope you get yout BFP soon.

Well i am CD 27, this time of the things are going crazy, it's checking the toilet paper all time, any way, the flu is better went to the doctor yesterday, but i also have tonsils, he gave me pencilin injection my bum is sore from that. I can see them they are still huge and red, even when i talk it's so wierd. Trying to catch up on emails that i missed yesterday. Chat latter. Regarding the pregnacare i am have recently started with Bio-agnus castus it is a hormone support and it contains chaste berry, which also helps with infertility, so i will try this for 4 months and see if it help with the cycles, i will update if there are any changes.

Im sorry the HPT came up negative... I cant say you tested to early as you are 'late' would you not prefer to do a blood test?

And you sure did ovulate this month? Stress can also cause your period to be late, have you been stressing?

What brand HPT did you buy? Maybe you should phone your gynae and have a chat??

Well, it is 3 days after AF was supposed to arrive & nothing yet.

I didn't a HPT this morning but it came up negative Not sure what is happening here.

I have never had a late period in my life. I've always had a 27 day cycle & maybe the odd 28 here & there so I'm puzzled. Am I pregnant or am I just extremely late????

Can the HPT be wrong? I don't know! It is so frustrating

@Jay - Maybe you should get that Pregnacare Conception for you. Apparently it helps to make your cycle a 28 day one & it helps with the CM.

Sorry about the study loan. It sucks when your employer don't really want to help you BUT hopefully it will work out for you.
