Hi Niknaks, hope you are well? It is very frustrating waiting for AF to arrive! Fingers crossed that you maybe just tested too early xx
Do you chart?
Also how will I know I might also have anovulation?

Hi, Girls!

Long time no pop in, things have been a bit hectic and stressful.

I would love to do Pilates - that's the one in which you improve balance and posture, right? Only heard good things about it. I used to do yoga - would do anything to do that again.

2kidmamma, hopefully you don't have to wait that long before falling pregnant again!

Marinda, don't get despondent, my sister-in-law fell pregnant (twice) over the age of 38! Not that you'd have to wait that long either ;)

Carmen does your gynae tell you how much weight you're supposed to pick up? I picked up 19 kilograms in total... yikes. Now it sounds a lot, but I was skinny malkiny back then, so I could afford it. When I fall pregnant again I'm definitely NOT going to overindulge in the sweets hehe :)

Strikkie good luck, but above all enjoy the BD :D

TaNasha, I've been thinking about you a lot. I have been through what you're going through. It might not be the same as you, but I have anovulation so when AF is late (normally irregular), I never want to get my hopes up but when it gets to CD38, CD39 I end up buying pregnancy tests and being so disappointed when it's negative. In any case I've got all fingers and toes crossed for you that you get a nice surprise soon!

I'm currently on CD 34 and was so sure I'm pregnant. Now I'm doubting myself and starting to think it's really all in my head. I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, so now i'm just frustrated that I have to wait so long for AF to arrive. I was SO sure I'm pregnant...............??? So feeling a little despondent now, which I SHOULDN'T, but it's now just frustrating waiting for AF to arrive... this month my boobs were actually sore, so I know I ovulated. Ai toggie :(

anyway hope you all have a peaceful evening. Sorry if I missed anyone, I can't scroll back too far on the reply setting.

Mom to 2 beautiful blessings:
Kaitlyn born 11 June 2008 weighing 3.2 kg
Nicole born 18 May 2011 weighing 3.4 kg

I used to do pilates for a long time and so i am very familiar with it. It does tone and so therefore loses centimetres but it wont burn fat, you will still need cardio for that. I cancelled the Curves gym membership that I had for 3 years and loved but since I had my second child there is absolutely no time for gyming after work. The Lunchtime Pilates classes are idea as i can do it and just get changed and go back to work. I must say I do feel energised after the class and can focus better now.

I also used to do Pilates a few years ago and have been thinking of maybe going again.

But just somehow to figure out when to get the time in the evening. DH is very helpful with the kids so maybe I can get into a class. Might just help with the 8 kg's I want to lose before holidays.

It tones as far as I remember and not actually cardio?

Girls, I'm dying here. I cancelled my Gym membership because I havn't been in a good year or so and am totally unfit. Then the ladies here at work got me to go an join their lunchtime Pilates class here at the Bio Kenetics practice in our office building. I havn't done Pilates in longer than a year. Anyway besides being super unfit and the fact that yesterday afternoon i slipped on one of my LB's toys and landed hard on my knee on the tiles and got it all bruise I also seem to have a sinus infection on the left hand side of my face and so the pilates class was all in all - SEVERE TORTURE to me today. When I bend down and lower my head (Mostly through the whole class) I want to go through the roof, when I have to go down on my knees (thank goodness for the mat) I want to scream and because I am so unfit and have arthritis which is clearly worse on the right hand side I just about couldn't do any of the moves!!!!

Arghhh, do any of you gals do Pilates? I used to do it regularly but am so out of any excercise.

Marinda i am in exactly the same boat as you. I also have two kids and am 34 going on 35 and trying for number 3. Judging by how long # 2 took, I could be looking at only getting pregnant around 36 or so. i also don't know if I want that.

Hi Ladies,

Woza Summer ! :P

Must admit that I'm feeling a little down today-like we're gonna try till we're exhausted trying and in anyway by that time I don't think I'll want to be pregnant anymore. I'm turning 35 next year and the gaps btw my 2 girls already is huge. And then there's the added risk of downs ect and of course it gets harder the older you get.

Is anyone round my age still trying?

Ah, Strikkie, hopefully, hopefully FF is slightly off and you did or still can get a (BFP) for this month!!

Andy- pity bout the cruise. Hope your things work out!

Hey Tracy & Hayley & all the other lovely ladies!
