meags there are preggie clinics you can go to for a scan, it will prob be cheaper and quicker. maybe ask the jhb ladies?

Ladies, I realised that by the time I join the TTC group again at the end of next yr, none of you will be here - unless you're trying for another baby Sad for me that my friends won't be with me but of course happy for all of you getting you BFPS!

Meags, I think TaNasha is based in Europe, Amsterdam or Netherlands I think? Lol, so unless you get her to courier you a hpt, you're not getting it.

By the way Meags, my SIL who is just hitting the 12 week mark this Sunday had terrible cramps for most of her first trimester. From the time they found out onwards. The doc did a scan and said it was normal and everything was fine. She then started bleeding and they found a blood clot but thankfully it seems to have been reabsorbed and now she's fine.

(I'm not trying to scare you - just giving a history. I don't think the blood clot was connected to the cramps coz they didn't see it the first time when they scanned and she was getting really bad cramps.) So you're not alone in getting cramps in 3rd trimester.

Marinda, sorry for AF. TaNasha, if this is AF for you too, sorry - I also get an extremely light, almost spotting kinda flow for the first few days and then AF hits heavy.

I also bought a cool new cadget - a clear blue fertility monitor! I will start using it with my next cycle (but im secretly hoping i wasted my money and won't need it). Its supposed to tell you exaclt when you are most fertile and exactly when you're ovulating, hope it works.

oh hang on...it only goes up to saying 3+ weeks. which i already know i am...so no point in me doing it
