2kidmamma, the reason why im not thinking it's implantation bleeding is cos im either 19/20DPO today and that's far to late for implantation... Right???

So i have no idea what it is... Could be AF taking her time to arrive, but none the less i will still go for a blood test at 12:30pm..

Hayley, don't you think that was implantation bleeding perhaps? FX FX Fx for the bloods. There is still hope friend.

Yay!!!! For your appointment... Yip, Gynae will do an internal scan to check all is well and dont be sad if you cant hear a heartbeat, might be to early for that... But im sure you will hear a heartbeat as you almost 7 weeks...

Cisca!! Soooo exciting!!! The gynae does a scan to check the age and heartbeat of the foetus and position. Remember, it could be off from the date you think you are. Dont worry it changes but you will have a fair idea of baba's due date. The dr will also tell you what the next steps are, blood tests he wants you to take - these include STD & HIV tests. It is standard. Antenatal vitamins will be prescribed. You also get weighed and do a urine test so be sure to drink water. They are checking for protein in your urine and also glucose so try stay away from sugary things. Also this is your chance to ask any questions you have. Also ask him, because of your compliction last time, does he need to see you every 2 weeks?
