Laliek, babyshowers are like torture if you are wanting to be preggie!!! And Im thinking maybe those dull aches are your little bean snuggling in and getting comfy for his/her 9month wait

TaNasha, I tried stay away from too many off those kinda things, but if you keep things moderate then you should be fine. The rule with sushi is to just make sure its fresh, even when not preggie or ttc you still dont want to get food poisoning And as for coffee, I still have a cup a day, but once my jar is empty Im buying decaf.

As for the temping you need to take it as soon as you wake up, rather snooze again afterwards as you need at least 3hrs uninterupted sleep before taking temp.

Im so bored.. son is napping, hubby watching gp .... zzzzzz ...

TaNasha, each women is differnet in what they chose to eat and drink while PG. To be honest I ate everything with Em, and occasionally had a savanna light (like 3 or 4 times in the entire pregnancy) I'm not a big drinker anyways.
Sushi, most Drs say you can still have, if it makes you feel better stick to the prawn and crab as they are cooked.

Regarding the temping, as far as I know, you should have 4 hours of solid sleep before you temp. But perhaps the other ladies can help you there.

I also have another question!

When temping, do you take your temp right after you woke up or can you still snooze and then take it?

My alarm usually goes off at 6 am and then I snooze till 6.30, 6,45 ish, which is better to temp as I have noticed a difference in temps between the two?

Do you girls stay away from alcohol and things like sushi and coffee completely while TTC?

I have quit coffee and I only tend to drink wine during AF now, but I love sushi and red wine! I dont want to put my whole life on hold while TTc because I dont even know if I can get pregnant, but I also dont want to do anything that could possibly be bad a a possible baby bean?

AFM: 3dpiui today and I still have a slight dull pain on my right handside (in between my ovary and bladder almost). But it's starting to worry me, it's not prominent but I can definitely feel it! I'm soooo scared it's a cyst again but I suppose I'll only know in 2 weeks time

Also had my friend's babyshower this morning - everyone there was either a mother already or pregnant - myself and her younger sister were the only two that's not...and her sister is 21...lol. Oi, but after this morning I'm even more broody than before - I said to my husband I'm trying to stay positive but if this is another IUI again he's going to be VERY ashamed of me when we find out it's a BFN as I'll just get sloshed to numb the pain BUT, that won't be necessary as it'll be a BFP, cyst or no cyst

Today I bought some OPK (just to make sure my body is doing what its meant to) and it was possitive, so I'm happy there. But was so cute, there was a leaflet in the package adertizing a pregnancy test, so it say "are you pregnant" on it - and DH picks it up and says "So are we pregnant???" he looked so excited... had to remind him it would be another 2 weeks before we'd know...
