Clomid is a fertility drug. It can only be bought on prescription. It should only be used if there is a problem with the cycle or an ovulation problem as it can interfere with the cervical mucus and lining causing other fertiltiy issues.

You should only use this drug after consulting a medical practitioner as ideally a scan should be done to make sure no cysts are present first it should only be used for 6 cycles at a time. The side effects take quite a while to exit the system and can be quite hectic.

yip Kristin, have to start on the red pills, preg on first day of AF, if not within the cycle of your AF, but must take precaution for 7 days

Morgan, you lucky falling pregnant so soon. just depends on ones body. I know few people tried clomid to regulate ovulation and did not fall pregnant.... so quickly

Well it def does help with ovulation I fell pregnant the first round, after batteling for more than 2 years.

Before I strated my first round my AF was MIA for about 90days. Dr gave me Primoult N to bring on my period which also worked. But it was just to "clean out" the uterus has nothing to do with ovulation.

I'm sure that Yasmin will do the trick RM. I've also just got my first box in years. Going to start this cycle. Can't remember do you start with the red pills the first day of AF?

Someone suggested it as a good method to force your AF back following Depo Provera.

I am on Yasmin now - last Depo shot was in April 2010.

Just started Yasmin this month, so wanted to find a possible alternate that was going to really kick it into gear.
